Noticed a couple of errors on the Skills pages and corrected them. Monk and
Bruiser were listed as Neutral and Warlock and Wizard were listed as Evil and
Good, respectively instead of Neutral.

Been away from EQ2 since Dec 30, 2004 due to illness. Back and hoping to have
some stuff up soon. But for now, I've added a little 2 page table of Class
Skills listed by Class and
Alphabetically.

Well, I still haven't gotten around to getting the basic maps yet, mostly due
to the fact that the quests are taking much more time than I anticipated to
organize. I've met some new friends in-game though, that should help speed
that process up. I'm not setting an estimated date at the moment, since I'm
highly addicted to playing, rather than organizing the information I'm collecting! :D
Still, I do hope to have at least some non-interactive maps up within two weeks,
if not a basic interactive map. Maybe not with lots of the quest information by
then. I definitely will be working on it this week and coming weekend. If I get
the time too, I will be updating the utils section, and may have a better program
for editing / viewing / creating text maps for the Original Everquest. At the
moment it looks alot like the Everquest In-Game Map Editor / Viewer.
However, if I end up implementing all the features before putting it online, it
won't be ready for quite a while. I will attempt to get the basic functions
working within the next week or so. If I don't get that far, I will at least
have a DOS utility to convert Everquest text maps to DXF files where the lines
are grouped so that they are easier to edit in some other vector-based drawing
applications. My current method of using Mappie, then Printing to a PostScript
file, then converting it to a CGM file, and finally importing is time-consuming
and worse yet, the connecting lines are not grouped together! :(
I have posted an updated QParse INI files on the Utils page
that you can check out. I also made some notes about how use in-game /say to make
some of the QParse functions more effective.

Currently this site is under construction.
I hope to have some of the basic maps by Nov. 15, 2004.
These maps will be interactive, allowing you to select what you want to see
on the map, including, but not necessarily limited to: particular types of
NPCs such as various types of Merchants (Food, Armor, Weapons, Furnitur),
Mendors, Bankers, Brokers, Scribes, etc.; Quests and their related NPC/MOB
locations; topographical features; Named MOBs and their loot.
In the meantime, you can check out a few things I already have available
in the most basic of forms for the site.
- Overview of Everquest II
- A brief overview of the game and some of the best features.
- Everquest2 In-Game Screenshots
- Not too many of these, as I spent most of my Beta time, trying to see
what was working and what was not, and documenting some things, such as
NPC dialog and locations, and quests.
- Utilities for EQ2 log files
- A list and links to some Utilities I wrote and/or used to help make this
web site and get the information from my eq2log* files
- Class Skills listed by Class
- Class Skills listed Alphabetically
