Brian Epstein was born
on September 19, 1934, at a private nusring home at 4 Rodney str.Liverpool.
He was the first child of
Harry and Malka(most known as Queenie)Epstein. His full name
was Brian Samuel. the second
child of the family, Clive, was born in 1936. Their home still stands
at 197 Queens Drive, Liverpool,
Brian had a difficult childhood caused by his unique personality.
He changed many schools
and suffered a traumatic Army duty in 1952. By that period Brian began
to understand his likes,
his sexual orientation and mostly his appetite to live not in his parents
schedule but by following
his feelings. When he returned to Liverpool told his father that he was
not going to follow his
steps by managing the family bussiness store North End Music Stores(NEMS)

In November 9th, 1961Brian
watched the Beatles playing at CAVERN Club in Liverpool and decided
to manage them that same
night. That night changed the Rock history for ever. Their way to stardom
began rapidly. Brian changed
their looks and scene behaviour for a start. After that he started making
the right moves to make
the group known to the public and to music companies in order to reach
a
good contract for them.
He had a lot of beatings in his search but soon the Beatles were with a
start
contract in their hands
and their real career started. Brians passion and belief about them helped
him
go through every difficulty
he faced in his way to make them famous. Soon the whole London was talking
about the four boys from
Liverpool, and that was Brians biggest success in the whole story. He took
four boys from the cellar
and driven only by his passion and vision and without any bases drived
them to
world stardom. During the
Beatlemania years Brian became very rich and famous to the world as their
manager and pop figure.
People attend to him as "the fifth Beatle", as he always dreamed to be.
His
life was elegant and moved
from his first home "whaddon house", Belgravia to a three-floor own home
at 24 Chapell street Belgravia.
his private life was lonesome and secret. He suffered from loneliness,
guilty thoughts (as being
a gay in a society that that was forbidden). Drugs were a bad add to this
situation and started his
way down. The last Beatles concerts at 1966 were Brians last lights of
living. After that he spent
the last dramatic year of his life totally alone, taking drugs and making
unsatisfactory one night
relationships with people who mostly used him. In summer 1967 Brian saw
his Beatles perform the
first ever world live music appearance singing "all you need is love",
in their
top of their careers. Two
months later, on August 27th 1967, he was found dead inside his bedroom
in Chapell street in the
age of 33. He was burried two days later in Liverpools Jewish cemetary,
section A, grave H12, near
his hather Harry who died six weeks earlier. His brother Clive died in
1987 and mother Queenie
in 1996. Clives son Henry Epstein lives and continues the Epstein family.
