BASL Championship season on home turf in fine and warm conditions against Moama
Border Raiders on Sunday. It was a day that saw a massive total of 22 goals scored across
the day's four matches.
In the first division match Ben Smith managed to score 5 times in the 8-0 thrashing while in the
seconds Jimmy Hercus was on target with a hat trick in the comfortable 7-1 win. The youth and
women's matches were much more even contests with
full time scores of 2-2 and 1-1 respectively as the sides fought hard for round one honours.
