JUNIOR REGISTRATION DAY DETAILS
WEDNESDAY February 23, 2005 has been set aside for the Epsom Soccer Club Junior Registration. The registration of last year and new players is to be conducted at the Howard Street Sports Complex at 16 Howard Street, Epsom from 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm.
Once details have been obtained, the number of teams will be determined and the coaches appointed. Further details on the “Meet the Coaches Day” will be circulated through various school bulletins and on www.epsomsc.cjb.net. This date will be a few weeks after the junior registration day. On “Meet the Coaches Day”, players will be introduced to each respective coach where details of training nights and times will be provided. Currently as it stands, it is predicted that the start of the junior season will commence on 16th April 2005, but readers are invited to keep tabs on this web site to keep up to date on proceedings.
The various age groups will consist of under 7, 8, 9 (Rooball) and under 10 (11 a side). All these age groups are non-competitive. Under 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 & 16 are competitive.
Under 7’s will operate under Rooball guidelines. Under 7’s will consist of 7 players per side which includes a goalkeeper. Under 8’s will have 8 players including a goalkeeper as will Under 9’s have 9 players including a goalkeeper. Under 7, 8 & 9 will play against other sides in their respective age groups.
Epsom Soccer Club is pleased to announce that the fees have been set and will remain the same as last season. Under 7 to 10 fees are $90. Under 11 to 16 fees are $95. Epsom SC is also glad to announce that families with 3 or more players will be eligible to receive a discount of $10. 
Families are also invited to pay their fees up front at registration or on a weekly basis. Fees are to be paid in full by May 31st 2005 and players who have not paid will not be eligible to play after this date.
For players who are not playing this season who played with Epsom SC last season are invited to contact the Registration Officer, Sharon Pontelandolfo on 5448 4852 to allow for easier and quicker processing of teams.
