ARTICLE IV - POWERS AND DUTIES OF OFFICERS

SECTION I - It is the duty of the President to preside ova all club meetings. He has the power to call special meetings at any time necessary, to impose parliamentary procedure during business meetings and to dismiss any member who disrupts proceedings.

SECTION II - It is the duty of the Vice-President to assume the duties of the President in his absence and to serve as chairman of the Pledging Activities Committee.

SECTION III - It is the duty of the Secretary to take minutes of every meeting of the club, to take toll and post absences the following day, to assume duties of club correspondence and to keep accurate records of club meetings, business and the absences and standing of all club members.

SECTION IV - It is the duty of the Treasurer to collect and account for all dues and fines, to dispose of club funds as directed by the Executive Council, to report on the state of the treasury at each meeting and to keep the Executive Council informed of those members failing to meet their financial obligations. Upon the approval of the Executive Council, the Treasurer will impose fines for failure to meet financial obligations.

SECTION V - It is the duty of the Sergeant-at-Arms to represent the club in Executive Council meetings and to serve with the Vice-President on the Pledging Activities Committee.
