We had a friendship,
Something that was great,
We thought it would last forever,
Until you met a mate,
You would call to make plans,
But, there in my chair I wait,
You never showed up,
You were never late,
But, instead you were always on a date,
You ditched your friend,
Now this will never end,
I called to see if you were ok,
You never called back,
So you thought things would be ok,
Deep down inside I hurt like a burning flame,
You never even wanted to see if the blood was flowing through my veins,
I though we had a strong friendship,
But, you never knew it existed,
Because you wanted more than resisted,
You didn't need a friendship anymore,
Because you found something that would last forever more,
You talked about love and marriage,
But, do you really think you need a baby carriage,
Thought we would be forever,
Now it will be never
