• Primary Oracle DBA for multiple databases, versions 7-8I, in HPUX, AIX and NT environments, both local and remote. Duties include tuning, backup and recovery, security, network configuration and SQL review.

• Strong PL/SQL and SQL coding abilities.

• Responsible for coordinating data migration, transformation and integration projects.

• J.D. Edwards OneWorld implementation and database management experience.

• Develops tools and applications using Shell, VB, and ASP.

• Designs and maintains 50-100 reports to meet sales order, shipment, inventory and financial analysis reporting requirements.

Data Warehouse Specialist/Systems Engineer, Safeskin Corporation, San Diego, California (Dec. 97 / Dec. 99)

• Assisted in the design and implementation of the Data Warehouse using Oracle/SQL Server/Informatica/Red Brick and Microstrategy.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining Informatica warehouse loads.
• Created numerous scripts to scrub and integrate data from multiple systems.
• Maintained a Visual Basic based contract and rebate application. Duties included frequent debugging (we didn’t write it).
• Designed numerous reports to meet the financial and logistical needs of the company.

VOLT TECHNICAL SERVICES Sep. 97 / Oct. 97

VOLT Technical Services is a temporary staffing company. I was the primary developer for an action item tracking database being developed by the military. The project was short and demanding. I was called back a number of times in subsequent months to continue to assist Logicon on this project.

MS Access/Visual Basic Developer, Logicon Corporation, San Diego, California (Sep. 97 / Oct. 97)

• Provided a complete redesign on an existing project to build an action item ticket database for the military. Requirements demanded the database be capable of replicating updates across multiple users via email.
• Delivered database within strict time constraints meeting all project requirements.

COMPUTEMPS May 97 / Sep. 97

Computemps is a temporary staffing company. I was the primary developer for a high throughput bioassay screening database being developed for an agricultural biotech company.

MS Access Programmer/Developer, Mycogen, San Diego, California (May. 97 / Sep. 97)

• Designed a multi-user database application that allowed Mycogen to track 1000’s of samples and tests over long testing cycles. The application made use of screens for personnel creating samples, lab workers and personnel performing the actual experiments.
• Application was designed using all phases of the system development life cycle. It was delivered on time and met all of the client’s requirements.

AJILON Dec. 96 / May 97

Ajilon is a leader in the IT consulting industry. I built an application that automated the generation of sales and marketing financial reports for GTE’s Video Services Division.
