That's Breathan, an older brother that Epona didn't even know about, he doesn't have as much elven blood as his half sister, but he remembers well when his mother started sleeping with the guild-master of Elven Sanctuary, he never felt it was right, and his sister was given to an elven woman who lost her child in order to hide the secret. He no longer has anyone to take care of in his own home. The woman he was courting has vanished, and his mother passed away recently, so now he's staying with what's left of his family. He doesn't talk much, and rarely makes a point of approaching others, but if someone approaches him, he'll at least listen. He's got that much going for him. He does have his heart with one young tracker, Kiriki, Kir for short. How ironic that he found Kir around the same time Blade found Storm, since Kir and Storm are related. He tends to stay by himself or with Kir, so he's a tad difficult to track down, which is good for him. Lately he can only be found with Kir, staying with her since a recent accident, but he's trying to track down his sister so she can, in turn, track down someone for him. He promised Kir he would, and he always keeps his promises. The years have treated Breathan surprisingly well, and now he has his Kir, and two children. His son, Dracuun, resembes his father in build, but his skin lacks that amber quality that Breathan's has, though it IS nicely tanned, he has his mother's blue-grey eyes in contrast, quite lovely in their way, but his hair is that sable color with some of that golden blonde intermixed, Dracuun seems to lack most of his mother's look, but he does have her good eyesight. His daughter, on the other hand, lacks her mother's eyesight, Taillte has her father's eyes, in color and blindness, and her father's hair, but beyond that, she's her mother's daughter. Breathan is barely a factor in their lives really, Kir's taken to babying Dracuun over the slightest things, and though Breathan adores his baby girl, he knows she needs to make her own path, so he sits and waits for her to come to him, like a trap. One of these days, Breathan will take his children up to "see" his home, and his way of life, but for now, he's content to stay with Kir in the forests. |
