| UNICEF is an organization dedicated completely to children. It is the only one in the United Nations to do this. It works with other UN bodies, governments, and non-government organizations with the goal of assisting the needs of children in over 140 developing/3rd World Countries. UNICEF has taken a prominent role in providing resources and leadership in the worldwide-project to eliminate Iodine Deficiency Disorder. |
| Key Club and UNICEF |
| Key Club focuses on helping UNICEF with another major goal for them, which is their project Kicking HIV/AIDS Out of Kenya. This project focuses on educating young women in Kenya about the dangers of HIV/AIDS, and how they can prevent it. This is done through putting girls on recreational soccer teams, and teaching them these life skills through the beautiful, world favorite sport of soccer. |
