Here's a bit more about me. I was born in Melrose, MA on a night when Mom was invited to a formal dinner. I crashed the party. After that I was raised in nearby Lynnfield, and today I spend much of my time between there and New Hampshire. Once a year I like to get on the road west if I can.

My friends call me a jack of all trades. As a little kid I was always the one who took it apart to try to find the hamster that kept it running. For the first 10 years of life I honestly believed anything could be made from cardboard or snow. To this day I've found few exceptions. I watched the Flintstones faithfully and ate their vitamins. I still watch Loony Toons!

The Outdoors has always been one of my life's loves. In elementary school Ranger Rick and National Geographic World were my two favorite magazines. Behind the house was conservation land where I cut my first trails and built a big bridge to the island in the middle of the swamp. Mom used to love doing my laundry.

Key Chains It seems all my friends have key chains representative of themselves. The feminist has a can of mace. The one who loves fitness has a little soccer ball on hers. A cop has an extendable nightstick keychain. Mine is a (still sharp!) beat-to-hell Swiss Army Knife.

My JobI attend school part-time for earth sciences. I've been working as an emergency medical technician throughout New England since 1995 and enjoy discussing medical topics. Recently, I started a photography and web-design business, Black Cat Images. BCI promotes health, recreation, and a clean environment, and I do not market its services to anyone that goes against those things. If you'd like to see more examples of my online work, check out my web portfolio.

My Friends Click here to see some of the people (and animals) I've met in my travels. These are the ones who gave me photos for the internet, the ones who call me back, and the ones who still seem to care despite the fact that they know me! There are others who are just camera shy.
