THIS HALL IS TOO STARK
RINGWRAITH #4's DREAM
Ringwraith #4: This hall is too stark! Ringwraiths: Sorry! Ringwraith #4: Take away the gaudy tower. Take away the dark'ning sky. What to Sauron may be scenic Turns out ugly by and by. Take away the fiery brimstone. Take away the smould'ring grit. What in Mordor may be pretty, Out in Gondor, it's the pits. Take away the flaming eyeball. Take away the fiendish orcs. When in battle, they look scary, But in daylight they're just dorks. So take it away and make it all marble! So take it away and add lots of flowers! So take it away and add softer lighting! I say that it really is a pity; It's potentially so pretty. Take away the struggling hobbits. Take away the lava flows. What at night may seem dramatic In the day is just so-so. Take away the pointy weapons. Take away the constant war. What in battle may seem nifty Is just stupid in Gondor. Take away the precious One Ring. Take away the Mount of Doom. What in theory may be creepy Is only frightening in the gloom. So take it away and make it all fluted! So take it away and dress it in silk! So take it away and paint it all fuchsia! I say that it really is a pity; It's potentially so pretty. Just so-so... In the day... In Gondor... This hall is too stark! Ringwraiths: Sorry!
