Fish: Some Say Some Say Some Say Some Say Some Say Some Say... Legolas: Many generations past, In the reign of Elendil, There lived some strong men In the land of Gondor. Men: Gondor! Elendil: Gondor! Legolas: And the king built a kingdom, And he built a great city. But others, it seemed, Had their eyes on Gondor. Sauron: Gondor! Legolas: When Elendil got wind of an upcoming battle He gathered some Elves from their cities afar. Gil-galad and Elves: Eldar! Legolas: And Isildur his heir, With his long dark brown hair, Mustered men. Men: And we set out to war! Legolas: A great epic battle, The Last Alliance of Men, And of Elves... All: To save Middle Earth We'll fight for our turf Gondor, Gondor We have one last chance So throw in your lance in Mordor Legolas: When both armies mustered each man, Then the great war began. All: Elves fought against orcs And the men fought with valor Until a platoon of them Started to run Men: We run! We run! Legolas: So they ran far away Far away from the fray Driven out by their fear of Sauron! All: The cowardly ones The cowardly sons Gondor, Gondor Men: For we fear for our lives! Isildur: I curse all of those men! All: And their souls too Isildur: All their souls when they die! All: To proceed Isildur: Your treason will keep you forever in those mountains While your hearts yearn forever to leave!
