| Boba 2 History of Bobism Bobism is the major religion in the country of Bobalando, which can be entered through a secret passage in Greenland. It started in 6000 BC, when a young caveman fell off his suspended cave. Then his father and mother called the chief of the tribe, and everybody started to pray to the caveman and called him Bobalandi, creating the religion of Bobism. One of the major Bobism rituals is giggling while you walk to the Underwear Cave to praise Bobalandi by saying his name once and slapping yourself in the head four times. After you praise Bobalandi, you should pray to at least 1 or 2 of his other family members like Dumibidity or Bobagorn. If you want to praise Dumibidity, you say his name once and slap yourself in the head two times. But if you want to praise bobagorn, you say his name once and slap yourself in the head either one or three times, depending on your mood. People who practice Bobism are known as people who practice Bobism, but they would rather be known as Bobbys. About 57% of the world population are Bobbys, though according to the rest of the world, Bobism is only a child's imagination. Some of the major holidays in Bobalando are Boba day; celebrating the anniversary of the day Bobalandi fell out of his suspended cave, and Bobmas, when all of the mist from the Isbobim Ocean goes to Signature Peak, where Bobalandi first put his signature in Bobalando. The holy books of Bobism are the Bobas. In the wonderfully true 18th Boba, and epic poem describes how Bobalandi fell out of his suspended cave by taking a club and knocking himself out by hitting the back of his neck as hard as he could because he wanted to squash a spider, making them the most liked non-human things in the world. The epic poem also describes how after Bobalandi died, his 32 sons went aruond Bobalando and spread bobism, hwile his 104 grandchildren became the holy guardians of the Signatures. The Signatures were the mark of Bobalandi, Dumibidity, Stepede, Momidido, Bobalando's 32 sons, and eventually his entire family. The Signatures have always been guarded by Bobalandi's descendents. |
