Also, because of the wide range of mythology and various legends about a particular, we expect you to have done a bit of research on your character. If you have done your homework, we'll have no trouble about accepting you into the RPG, but we cannot hand off an important character to someone who doesn't know this character's history and personality. Please be advised- there will be an 9 year jump in this RPG, after the beginning of the Trojan War, to the last year and its events as described by the Iliad. If you are applying for an OC, please arrange your plotlines to fit this. If you don't understand this concept, please contact one of the mods.
Also, choose your characters carefully. Just because Zeus is almighty and powerful doesn't mean he gets a lot of chances to RP in the Iliad. The same goes for some cool people like Penelope (overseas in Ithaca), Clytemnestra (overseas in Mycenae), and Briseis or Chryseis. We don't like to see journals wasted, or updated once or twice, and then left to "die". Please choose your characters wisely!
