1. ROLEPLAYING
When roleplaying in eWo the following rules are set in stone and if broken, will severely effect your chances of winning your match.
- 1.1 Your Characters Only; Do not use anyone else's characters in your roleplays with the exception of certain staff members. You may use referees and interviewers, but no one from administration
- 1.2 Attacking? Lame.; Unless it's a very heated dramatic situation, attacking people in your roleplays comes off cheesy and uninspired. You may not attack staff, as it is way overdone and eWo (IC) would fine and suspend you.
- 1.3 In-Ring Roleplays; They are not accepted. We do not run house shows, so there is no way for you to conduct a promo in the ring unless it is submitted as an oncard. If you write one for a match, it will not count.
- 1.4 Get Real; Make sure that your roleplays are plausible, meaning that there can no be unrealistic events. You can kill anyone, you can't go to war, no nuclear bombs, no super powers etc.
- 1.5 The Judge; There really is no criteria to how a roleplay is judged, just the over all effect I am left with after reading it.
2. DEADLINES & RESPONSIBILITIES
When posting your roleplays, submitting strats and segements in eWo, take note of these deadlines and further rules. Our weekly shows are on Mondays, and our Pay Per Views are on Sundays so deadlines will adjust accordingly.
- 2.1 Saturday Deadline;* You must post at least on roleplay before Saturdays at 11:59 pm EST. If your opponent posts one before this time, and you do not, you automatically lose your match.
- 2.2 Sunday Deadline;* If both you and your opponent have posted at least one roleplay before Saturday, you both may roleplay on Sunday. But only once. Sunday deadline is at 11:59 PM EST.
- 2.3 Multiperson Team Matches;* If one member of a team has roleplayed once or more before Saturday without exceeding the roleplay limit, their partner may post on Sunday.
- 2.4 Mr. Plow; If you roleplay for your match first, you cannot roleplay again until your opponent has. Once they have, either of you may post the next roleplay.
- 2.5 A Champion's Duty; If you hold a title in eWo and no show a match, you will lose your title. You may even be jobbed out in a match to crown a new champion.
- 2.6 Strats & Segs; These are due at first deadline (Saturday) night and will no longer be accepted after that.
* For Sunday Pay Per Views, the Saturday deadline is changed to a Friday deadline and the Sunday deadline is changed to a Saturday deadline.
3. RISING ABOVE
When working for a push in eWo, take these guidelines into consideration.
- 3.1 Dynamic Booking System; The combined effort of all participants in a match determines the match's placement on the card. This includes roleplaying, strat and segment submission. The harder you work, the better place on the card you get.
- 3.2 Segments; eWo's style has always been that of storytelling. So storylines are important. To get a push, you must be willing to submit segments all the time for shows and develop your own storylines.
- 3.3 Strategies; 'Strats' are ideas sent to the match writer, on how your character will act in a match. These are very important and highly regarded when considering someone's push. There is a template on the forums and must be submitted on time.
These rules can be modified at any time, without warning.
