Real Name: Jesse Jameson
Nickname: The Workhorse
Hometown: Buffalo, New York
Resides: Hamilton, Ontario
Height & Weight: 6'2" & 240lbs.
Alignment: Face
Gimmick: A workhorse in the truest sense, Jesse Jameson has worked tirelessly for the past two decades honing his craft, living a nomadic lifestyle and staying wherever he could find steady work. Like that famous tune by the man in black: He's been everywhere, man. After years of travel, and countless contract opportunities, happenstance has thrust him into the limelight. But has the chance come too late to matter?
Entrance Music: "Divinations" by Mastodon
Entrance Description: When the intro riff to "Divinations" by Mastodon plays on the house speakers, the lights go down and a yellow beam of light emanates from the entryway. Jesse Jameson walks out to a great response from the crowd and hustles down the aisle, slapping as many hands as possible on the way. Once ringside, he visits all four sides and greets everyone he can before sliding under the bottom rope, awaiting the opening bell.
Ring Attire: Standard wresting attire; full-length tights adorned with rams (his astrological sign is Aries), wrestling boots, elbow and knee pads.
Normal Attire: Modest; a reflection of his lifestyle.
Wrestling Style: A cross between Bret Hart and Steve Austin; a wily veteran with the moveset of a master craftsman combined with an in your face intensity.
Ring Persona: Rarely uses weapons and will never cheat to get a victory. It's all about respect, and the best man winning.
Signature Taunt: Jesse will sometimes hold out a hand to try and help up a downed opponent. In the rare case that someone actually tries to take it, against heel opponents he'll slap it away and then do it again; against babyfaces he might actually help them up so the match can continue.
Title History:
- eWo Commonwealth Champion (1)
Superstar History:
Jesse Clark Jameson made his professional wrestling debut at a union hall in his hometown of Buffalo, New York in 1982. Foregoing the option of college, he worked part time at a meat processing plant and wrestled on the weekends, where he quickly began making a name for himself. Soon the weekends were not enough to satisfy the young man's need for in-ring competition, and he embarked on a journey that lasted more than two decades.
Chances at the big promotions came and went. He had the talent, but he didn't have the desire to be tied down to one company. The bigger the money, the bigger the arenas got, and the further away you were from the people. For him, it was always about the people. But the twenty year journey has brought him to a place he never thought he would be: the big time. The eWo. And for reasons he could never have fathomed.
