Sg-9 is declared missing in action and the SG-1 team are sent through to the planet where they were last designated.  They learn that the inhabitants treated SG-9 as gods because thet had "magic" and came through the Chapaai.  The leader of SG-9, Captain Jonas Hanson took this to his advantage and gained immediate power.  Hanson ruled the planet without mercy and forcing the poor villagers to build temples and executing those who do not believe in the SG-9 Gods.  Hanson must be stopped!  His Ex-fiancee, Dr. Samantha Carter believes that she can woo him over romantically while O'Neill, Daniel and Teal'c try to rescue Connor, one of the surviving members of SG-9 that refused to treat the villagers as slaves.
