This is just a beginner's guide to the technology that is used by the SGC and by aliens.
D.H.D.
The Dial Home Device is shaped like a mini Stargate, which has all the Stargate symbols embroiled onto it. Just as the name says, if the correct combinations are pushed, it can dial to your home planet[Which I hope would be Earth...unless your an alien of course...]
Zat'nik'atel
This is a Jaffa's Primary weapon. It's first shot stuns the victim, causing it great pain. The second kills the enemy and the third, disintergrates the victim. Because of the long name, it is also calle a Zat-Gun.
Staff Weapon
This is the secondary weapon, but mostly used by the Jaffa. It shoots out a fiery shot and can cause great damage.
The Goa'uld Ribbon Device
The Goa'uld Ribbon Device is a weapon of destruction used by the Goa'uld, with the exception of Major Samantha Carter. It fits on the right hand of the client like a mesh glove. It is held into place by strands of wire and metal. Little pouches fit o�er each finger and power is stored in a circle in the middle of the palm. The device activates much the same as the Stargate and when it is activated, it creates a kinetic shockwave which can knock back an adult human back by quite a few feet. If held into place on the forehead of a human, the brain�s molecules are restructured and the target�s brain is "liquified from the inside out."
Dimensional Mirror
This technology device was first found on P3R-233. It transports one human or object to one dimension to another. It was presumed to be constructed of Naquadah, and is controlled by a hand held device. When the Sg-1 team went to this alternate reality, when fighting of the Goa'uld, the hand held controller was destroyed and the mirror can not be worked with out it.
Ihn'tar
This gun is only a stun-gun which is identified with ared crystal. This gun is like a zat-gun's first shot which only stun the victim. This Ihn'tar gun was first shown in "Rules of Engagement"
Long Distance Communication Device(LDCD)
The Long Distance Communication Device is a Goa�uld machine that is shown as purple tinged spheres and it communicates from Goa�uld to Goa�uld from very long distances, hence the technology�s name. They can be used from ship to ship, planet to planet, planet to ship or vice versa. It is first seen and used by Apophis in �Within the Serpents Grasp�.
Thor�s Hammer
Thor�s Hammer is a device produced by the Asgards which works as a safeguard to the primitive natives of the planet Cimmeria. This mechanism catches and traps all Goa�uld symbiotes and transports them to an underground cavern.
M.A.L.P.(Mobile Analytical Laboratory Probe)
three-foot high, four-foot wide, this object with sensors can test and collect samplesof air, water and earth to detect if a planet is able to be manned with out any technical aid. The MALP can send back video and radio signals back, throught the WORMHOLE to observe the physical appearance of the planet.
MUAV(Miniature Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)
is an aerial version of the malp and is designed for better and greater tolerances in non-oxygen atmosphere and/or low pressure. Just like the MALP, the MUAV is used to explore worlds that might be uninhabitable for humans to walk on. It is not able to change it's course though and not able to trvel over terrain. It is controlled by the '"Pilot"' at the SGC.
BMFB (Blast Mark Five Bomb)
A Nuclear weapon.
