Chronos/Kronos
Chronos posed as a Greek god on earth, in fact, one of the twelve titans that delved to supreme power.  Chronos/Kronos might be the father of Sokhar because of the mythology behind his role as Chronos/Kronos, the father of the God of the underworld(See Sokhar).  This Goa'uld is the one of the most influential of all the System Lords that came to the SGC as a representative.  His life was saved by Samantha Carter with a Goa'uld healing device after Nurti tried to kill him.  Chronos killed Teal'c's father for failing a mission and this had influenced Teal'c into becoming the First Prime of Apophis(Chrono/Kronos�s Nemesis).  Nurti also tried to kill Chronos/Kronos because everyone would suspect that Teal'c was the culprit. 

Mythology of Chronos/Kronos
He was the father of Zeus(king of the Gods) , Hera(Queen of the Gods), Posiedon(The Sea king) and Hades(God of the underworld) He was told by a oracle that one of his descendants would kill him and take his role as ruler away from him.  He then swallowed all of his children but when his wife gave birth to Zeus(the youngest of the first generation Gods) he was going to swallow him too.  His wife was upset that all of her children were going to be swallowed that she gave Chronos/Kronos a rock instead of the baby Zeus.  Zeus was sent away but when he grew up, he over threw his father by killing him and trapping all of the other Titans in the pit of the sea.  He then rescued his brothers and sisters and left Posiedon in charge of guarding the Titans in the sea.
