Emancipation

Arriving on the planet Simarka, SG-1 meets a race named the Shavadai.  The Shavadai are a race of people that relate to the ancient Mongols on Earth.  These warriors live upon a strict codes and rules which also include a second status for women.  Carter was threatened with punishment of death only to be spared her life because she saved the Shavadai Chief's son, Abu.  Abu hopes to trade her for the hand of Nya, the daughter of the Shavadai Chief, Moughal's, powerful enemy, Turghan.  This deal goes completely wrong and she ends up the property of the warrior chief.  Carter tries to escape but is has pity on Nya and Abu.  Carter arranges for Nya's escape from Turghan.  Turghan caught Nya and will stone her to death unless Carter defeats him in battle.  She must now proove that she has the strength and courage of any man, or die trying...
