Mel's Most recent appointment
We just got back from another 3 day stint at the Mayo Clinic. Talk about tired out. We did get great news, though. Mel's scans look unchanged. YAYYYYYY He also got a reprieve for 6 MONTHS. Even with all the good news, the doctor told us something that we hadn't heard before. We were told that at this stage of the game (meaning this far out from completing chemo) any changes or growth that may occur, will happen quickly. This means that it is very important for Mel to pay attention to any changes in his body. The doctors want to know immediately about any little thing. Just wondering if anyone else has been told something like this.
