After years of trying, I was finally able to obtain the assistance of an MD to help us understand tumors better.
    I would like to introduce...

    Dr. Joseph C. Landolfi, D.O.

Dr. Landolfi has agreed to accept one question per week (presented by me) every Tuesday morning. He will then present the question to the TUMOR BOARD (that he heads) on Wednesday. Then, he will then present the answer to me, and I will send it to you.

Dr. Landolfi is a board certified neuro-oncologist and is currently practicing at the JFK medical center ( a major tumor center) in Edison, New Jersey. He:
    * Is director of the neuro oncology program
    * Is the medical director of the Gamma Knife program
    * Co-chairs the cancer pain program.
    * Has authored 4 representative publications.

In order for this to work, a few rules must be followed

1). All questions must be sent to the whole group. That way, we can all benefit, and the same question won't be asked by several folks. I will select which question to present to Dr. Landolfi.

2). Please do not ask questions specific to your individual case. Present question of a general nature, those that everyone may benefit from (such as - "Are Ependymomas cancer?", or " What is a sub-ependymoma?"). Please keep questions about your case for YOUR DOCTOR!

3). Please do not email Dr. Landolfi directly. (I cannot emphasize this enough). The last thing this busy man needs is to be flooded with numerous e-mails!

DISCLAIMER: Information presented here IS NOT a substitute for advice by your own doctor. It IS NOT intended to replace consultation with a qualified medical professional.

On a personal note, I want to say that I am thrilled with this addition. I would like to personally thank Dr. Landolfi for his helping us out.
