The doctor's response...
Radiation to the brainstem, particularly the pons, can lead to facial myokymia-rippilng sensation on the face-this is rare. There is no real evidense it can cause spasm. Ear noises , also known as tinnitis(does not mean ringing) is the result of hearing loss. It can also be due to certain types of radiation to the area of the hearing nerves as a result of radiation induced hearind loss. Certain chemotherapies can do the same.
