* Analysis Safety of Reactor-Installations of the Atomic Power Station;
* Research of characteristics of active zones of nuclear reactors;
* Increase of reliability and safety warmly exchange the equipment of the atomic
power station;
* Fire and radiating safety of the atomic power station;
* Development of technical systems and techniques on clearing radioactive waters;
* Prolongation of terms of operation and increase of an overall performance of the
equipment of the atomic power station;
* Research of processes in system of switching of electric circuits with vacuum
chambers and development of power pulse transformers for systems of switching
off a direct current converters;
* Research of influence of ionizing radiation in interests of a national economy of
Ukraine;
* Creation of эколого-economic monitoring of a sea economic zone of Ukraine;
* Non-conventional energy sources;
* Development and certification of system of quality of educational services,
Maintenance certification and standardizations.
The basic forms of scientific work in institute are the research, developmental and skilled-
technological works which are carried out as in initiative in order on faculties of institute in the
educational purposes, and scientific development.
Research work has been done on material base Nuclear-Physics and safety of the atomic power
station, and also on unique educational complexes into which structure enter:
* Research reactor ИР-100;
* Under the critical stand of research reactor ИР-100;
* Under critical assembly of an active zone of research reactor ИР-200;
* The radiochemical and spectrometer laboratories certified in Gov.standart of
Ukraine;
* Radiochemical laboratory for work with the open radioactive substances;
* The automated power installation by capacity 22 thousand kw;
* Experimental sites with operating stands on maintenance & fire extinguishing;
* Water-channels with the necessary measuring equipment;
* Unique Heat stand for carrying out of researches of a condition of active zones;
* The operating real equipment of shops of the atomic power station with blocks
VVER-1000;
* The equipment and stands of educational laboratories of faculties.
With a view of preparation scientific and pedagogical and science officers in institute The
