| The darkness in my room swallows up my walls And molds them into trees as sky and forest calls I walk up to gravel path as a bird flies o'erhead And my hunger for a perfect world is suddenly well fed The gargoyle sits on her pillar standing tall and still Everwatching over me, appearing at my will There I grow my sacred wings to fly where they take me Out of the cave and to the sky i beat my wings and clouds float by. I stare out my window, concealed within my room, But little does my body know, that I am far from here. I step upon the astral glass, and watch it as it shivers, Into the unknown I shall deliver. And so the Dragonfly flits past me, Irridecent wings shimmering in the moon, I reach out, but falter, and end up in my room. |
