DESCRIPTION
Oberon G37 is an ultra-low temperature pure grade grease engineered to provide excellent performance and protection at extremely low temperature. Oberon G37 is specially recommended for food and beverage industries where manufacturing equipment undergo high extreme temperature fluctutations, from steam and room temperature to ultra-low refrigerated temperatures; to combat the problem of rust, corrosion, high humidity, detergents, high shock loads and dust films.
CHARACTERISTICS
INTERNATIONAL STANDARD APPROVAL
Oberon G37 is a fully synthetic grease formulated and manufactured to give premium performance and food grade purity. This NLGI No.2 grease is composed entirely of ingredients which meet the requirements of Section 178.3570 of the Food and Drug Administration Regulations. Oberon G37 as also approved by the Department of Primary Industries and Energy as Food Grade LUBRICANT TYPE A. This approval is a very specific and mandatory requirement when lubricants are used in processing food and beverage equipment and food support products, such as packages, cartons etc., where incidental contact with lubricants may occur in the process.
LOW TEMPERATURE PERFORMANCE
Oberon G37 is recommended for bearings and general grease lubrication where processing temperatures are well below zero, especially for refrigerated food and beverage equipment. Oberon G37 lubricates at temperatures as low as minus 63 degrees C for extended periods.
PREVENTS RUST AND OXIDATION
Oberon G37 is a smooth brown grease made with polyalphaolefins and special bentone thickener. It contains additives to provide protection against rust and resists oxidation. Melting snow or ice frequently contracts ordinary grease. This expose bare metal surface to friction wear and tear. Oberon G37 adheres tightly to metal surfaces and inhibits water from entering during extremely cold temperatures.
