DESCRIPTION
Oberon G36 is the top of the line automotive and industrial grease. It gives a significant increase in life performance and elastomer seal compatibility. Oberon G36 is specially developed for wheel bearig applications. Oberon G36 achieved the highest ever rating of ASTM D-3527 Wheel Bearing Life Test.
CHARACTERISTICS
REMARKABLE LONG LIFE
A bearing life of 80-hours is considered minimum. A high quality lithium complex grease normally fails after 120 to 150-hours. Oberon G36 lasts a remarkable 794-hours! (ASTM D-3527 Wheel Bearing Life Test). This saves the large expenses of frequently re-lubrication and premature equipment failure.
EXCELLENT HIGH SPEED PERFORMANCE
Oberon G36 moves well in high speed applictions and return to its normal consistency at rest. It will outperform specialty greases at RPMs over 5,000.
ELASTOMER COMPATIBILITY
Oberon G36 is compatible with a wide variety of elastomer seals including silicon, neoprene and nitrile. In addition, the base oils used in Oberon G36 is low in sulphur content to prolong the performance life of elastomeric and metal components. It also provides excellent compatibility with other greases and will not react adversely when used in applications where residuals of these greases may remain.
EXTREME TEMPERATURE STABILITY
Oberon G36 gives consistency superior performance at both elevated and low temperatures. It has a drop point of 504-degree Fahrenheit and excellent low temperature mobility. Oberon G36 can operate at -40-degree Fahrenheit.
SUPERIOR CORROSION RESISTANCE
Oberon G38 is fortified with effective corrosion inhibitors that keeps all metal working parts and equipment in tip-top conditions and prolong service life.
EXTREME PRESSURE PROTECTION
Oberon G36 has excellent Extreme Pressure (E.P.) properties that provide exceptional stability and tenacity in high-impact, high load conditions. It passed the ASTM 2509 Timken Test of 60-lbs!
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
Oberon G36 is developed from New Polyurea Technology, specially designed to create lubricants that are easily biodegradable and safe for the environment.
WIDE APPLICATION
Oberon G36 is designed for use in automotive and light / heavy truck, farm implement, plus many industrial, construction and surface mining equipment. Specific applications include wheel bearings (disc and drum), steering pivots, chassis / suspension points, universal joints, ball joints, axle fittings, tie rod ends and king pins / shackle pins.
SPECIFICATIONS
Oberon G36 is GC certified for use in severe service automotive disc and drum brake, automotive wheel bearing applications and temperatures ranging from -40 degree Centegrade (-40-degree Fahrenheit) to 160-degree Centigrade (320-degree Fahrenheit). Oberon G36 is also LB certified for use in severe service automotive chassis applications at temperatures ranging from -40-degree Centigrade (-40-degree Fahrenheit) to 120-degree Centigrade (248-degree Fahrenheit).
