DESCRIPTION
Oberon G36N is the top of the line automotive and industrial grease. It gives significant increase in life performance and elastomer seal compatibility. Oberon G36N is specially developed for wheel bearing applications. Oberon G36N achieved the highest ever rating of ASTM D-3527 Wheel Bearing Life Test.
CHARACTERISTICS
REMARKABLE LONG LIFE
A bearing life of 80 hours is considered minimum. A high quality lithium complex grease normally fails after 120 to 150 hours. Oberon G36N lasts a remarkable 794 hours! (ASTM D-3527 Wheel Bearing Lofe Test). This saves the large expenses of frequent re-lubrication and premature equipment failure.
EXCELLENT HIGH-SPEED PERFORMANCE
Oberon G36N moves well in high speed applications and return to its normal consistency at rest. It will outperform specialty greases at RPMs over 5000.
ELASTOMER COMPATIBILITY
Oberon G36N is compatible with a wide variety of elastomer seals including silicon, neoprene and nitrile. In addition, the base oil used in Oberon G36N is low sulphur content to prolong the performance life of elastomeric and metal components. It also provides excellent compatability with other greases and will not react adversely when used in applications where residuals of these greases may reamin.
EXTREME TEMPERATURE STABILITY
Oberon G36N gives consistently superior performance at both elevated and low temperatures. It has a high drop point of 504 degrees F and excellent low temperature mobility. Oberon G36N can operate at -40 degrees Fahrenheit.
SUPERIOR CORROSION RESISTANCE
Oberon G36N is fortified with effective corrosion inhibitors that keeps all metal working parts and equipment in tip-top condition and prolong service life.
EXTREME PRESSURE PROTECTION
Oberon G36N has excellent Extreme Pressure (E.P.) properties that provide exceptional stability and tenacity in high-impact, high-load conditions. It passed the ASTM 2509 Timken Load Test of 60-lbs!
ENVIROMENTAL FRIENDLY
Oberon G36N is developed from New Polyurea Technology, specially designed to create lubricants that are easily biodegradable and safe for the environment.
WIDE APPLICATION
Oberon G36N is designed for use in automotive and light / heavy trucks, farm implement, plus many industrial, construction and surface mining equipment. Specific applications include wheel bearings (disc and drum), steering pivots, chassis / suspension points, universla joints, ball joints, axle fittings, tie rod ends and king pins / shackle pins.
SPECIFICATIONS
Oberon G36N is GC certified for use in severe service automotive disc and drum brake, automotive wheel bearing applications at temperatures ranging from -40 degrees C (-40 degrees F) to 160 degrees C (320 degrees F). Oberon G36N is also LB certified for use in severe service automotive chassis applications at temperatures ranging from -40 degrees C (-40 degrees F) to 120 dgrees C (248 degrees F).
