| OBERON G31 CENTRALIZED SYSTEM LUBRICANT (Super Grease) DESCRIPTION Oberon G31 is engineered to provide superior pumpability and stability in all centralized lubrication systems. It provides shear stability, exceptional Extreme Pressure(E.P.) characteristics and excellent water resistance necessary for optimum long-distance. CHARACTERISTICS SUPERIOR PUMPABILITY Good pumpability is an important factor in centralized lubrication systems. Oberon G31 has a high Viscosity Index and uses a heavier base oil to provide optimal flow over long distances. It can be easily pumped through the lines while remaining firm enough to protect bearings. Oberon G31 has such superior pumpability that it even passed the Trabon Centralized Lube System Test. EXCELLENT WATER RESISTANCE Ordinary lubricants are subject to high water contamination and water emulsions. Oberon G31 contains special water-resistance supplements to unsure that there are no water emulsion or discoloration of the grease. EXCEPTIONAL E.P. CHARACTERISTICS In centralized system lubrication, consistent, stable lubrication is of vital importance. Oberon G31 has excellent shear stability and Extreme Pressure(E.P.) characteristics to ensure that it would not bleed or drip off in severe working conditions. EXTREME HEAT RESISTANCE Lithium complex grease has a tendency to melt and run out of the bearings when subjected to extreme heat, resulting in constant bearing failures. Oberon G31 has a high drop point (ASTM D-2265 527 degrees F) to reisist melting. Its extreme heat resistance also prevents dry collars. APPLICATION PRIMARY APPLICATION Steel Mill. Oberon G31 is ideal for reheat furnance roll out bearings, hot roll finishing stands, roll neck bearings, slab conveyor tables. Oberon G31 is also designed for use in heavy earthmoving equipment, industrial apllications, off-road equipment, fleet and commercial applications. |
