Note: The tips and tricks listed here are a result of
my experiences in Morrowind and none other.
Some of which may seem a little too helpful. I hope
they prove beneficial to you and liven your
Morrowind adventures.
The Beginner's Touch

1.) Steal the warehouse key from the Exise Office.

2.) Steal what you want from the warehouse (right across from the exise office). Note: There is some imperial armor, moonsugar and skooma there. Those are the highest value items that I found there. If you are alchemically motivated, take the ingredients too. Sell all the items to the local trader. Note: The moonsugar and skooma can be sold to
Ajira in the Mages Guild in Balmora.

3.) Leave Seyda Neen and travel on the road towards Hla Oad and Gnaar Mok. Once you come across a book laying in the middle of the trail, approach it. A wood elf will fall from the sky and die on impact. On his body you can find  three scrolls of
Icarian flight, a very good sword, a robe, a fur helm and the book you saw first. What I do is, I use the sword, wear the robe for some style and sell the fur helm. I kept the book because it seemed interesting and unique. Save the three scrolls for later on in the game, don't sell them. Warning: These scrolls can possibly kill you if you use them incorrectly. And now you know why the wood elf died. Head back to Seyda Neen and sell what you please.

4.) Remember that
Ring of Healing you found in the barrel between the Census and Exise office. Well, that belongs to Fargoth. Return it to him. Don't worry, you can get it back easily in the next tip.

5.) Go upstairs in the local tradehouse. Talk to a brute fellow by the name of
Hrissikar. Take the Fargoth's Gold quest offered. Go to the top of the lighthouse as directed. Note: Just before exiting the door at the top of the lighthouse, there is a book sitting there. Just look around. It will bring your security up a point and is worth $300. I advise you take it and sell it later on. Now, wait for Fargoth to enter the muddy pool in the center of town, then go to the pond and take all the items in the hollow stump. Note: For Fargoth to do this, it has to be either night or early morning, and could take up to two weeks worth of waiting.
There should be $300 there, a lock pick and the acclaimed
Ring of Healing you returned to him earlier. Now, you have a choice. You can either go back to Hrissikar and get your reward, or keep your findings. All he gives you is a measly $100 and takes the $300 from you. I just keep it and use the money for further expenses. That Hrissikar fellow seemed kind of greedy anyway.

6.) Now, using the sword you claimed from the wood elf, clear out the entire cave of
Addamasartus. You can find it on the road heading towards Pelagiad and Balmora. It is right by the Silt Strider. Loot everything from there. Note: in the caves where you find the rat, use a torch aquired from looting the other parts of the cave and look by the bones scattered among the mushrooms against the wall. There will be a netch leather pauldron and a Ring of Thieving. By another patch of mushrooms there will be the other pauldron. Put on the pauldrons and the netch leather boots that you should of found. If you come across a chitin helm, use that as well. Make sure you free all the slaves, and sell the items you found to the local Seyda Neen trader.

7.) Now, you can either walk to
Balmora or talk the Silt Strider. I suggest you walk because you earn more experience that way. By now, you should have a decent enough sword and a bit of armor, if you followed any of this. If you have high marksman skills as a beginner (like myself), go and purchase a bow from the local trader in Seyda Neen if you can afford it. In case you are new to this, a bow requires arrows and are purchased separately.

Good luck in starting out on Morrowind. I hope these tips helped you out somewhat. The world is now your oyster.

Sticks and Stones Aren't Breaking These Bones

1.) Join the Mages Guild. When you talk to Ajira, complete the mushroom quest. Once you get to the fake soul gem quest, steal all the filled soul gems on top Galbedir's desk. Note: Don't try to enchant using one of these soul gems with Galbedir. Do this with the Dunmer in the Balmora Temple. If so, raise his dispostion to about 100 to get a deal. Enchanting can be expensive. Don't use these soul gems on useless enchanting. I use the one with the ogrim titan to make an open 100 lock amulet (costing about $40 000). I use the one with the Winged Twilight to make a soul trapping sword ($40 000). A silver short sword works best with this enchantment, since everything can be hurt by silver. Use the gem with the dremora to make a water walking amulet with about 106 seconds on it. Swimming takes so long, and those pesky slaughter fish delay you even more. This spell works best when having to escort someone to an island (the spell effects them at the same time).

2.) When you have wealth beyond your riches, create that open
100 lock amulet I told you about previously. Now, go the fighters guild in Ald'ruhn. There is a door with an 80 lock. Open it and shut the door. There is 100 lock chest with a full set of orcish armor and a chest with some nice glass armor.

3.) Well, now your in need of some powerful artifacts. Travel to the tower of
Tel Fyr. Go up to the room with Divayth Fyr, (you will need levitate to do this) and notice there is a 100 lock chest in his room. Open this and you will find the powerful summoning daedric axe called Scourge. Now there is a mini chest on his bookshelf. Open that and there will be the Daedric Sanctuary Amulet. Don't use this yet. Now, go out the door and around the corner to a closet with a 100 lock.
Open this and you will find the
Cuirass of the Savior's Hide. You are probably wearing a glass cuirass, so take it off and wear your new finding.

4.) Does the word "
Daedric Crescent" make you tingle with eagerness? Remember that Daedric Sanctuary Amulet you aquired earlier? Well, before you use it, make sure you have a bow and a hefty amount of arrows. Preferably the Daedric Longbow. Now, use the amulet. It will teleport you to a daedric shrine. Don't worry about transportation home. Now run and hide behind the "stones." The daedric lord will basically get stuck and you can pound him with arrows. He will conjure the occasional fireball, but they can be dodged easily. Once he is dead you will be teleported back to the tower of Tel Fyr. You now wield the Daedric Crescent. I don't use it though. It has a paralyzing spell with too wide of a range. So you get paralyzed when you use it. You can either leave it there, or keep it in your collection.  If you had any common sense whatsoever, you would be carrying a couple of scrolls of Divine Intervention. If not, have a safe trip home.

5.) Now, it is time you get yourself a decent marksman weapon. Go to Balmora and head south on the
Odai River. Make sure you are on the right side (same side as Fort Moonmoth). When you get about halfway there will be a little wooden bridge that crosses the river. Head east of that and look around for a cave called Vasser Didanat Cave. It is an abandoned ebony mine, and can pack some tough creatures depending on your level. All you have to do is go in the door and leave right back out. Now, go the the Haunted Manor in Vivec, St. Olms Plaza and talk to Dram Bero. Reveal to him the location on the lost ebony mine and he will give you a choice of several daedric weapons. You can only have one. I recommend that you choose longbows... hence the daedric longbow. It has a damage of 1-50, but can be pretty heavy. Good things come at a price. Note: You probably have to open some tough locks to get to Dram Bero. This should be no problem. You did make that amulet, right?

6.) Here comes the question. Do you have
Tribunal? If so, this may help you. You probably have your daily Dark Brotherhood attacks. Don't speak to a guard, as doing that will prevent these attacks. As you get higher in level, they will carry a Daedric Wakizashi. Their armor can be sold to creeper for a nice price. I recommed you keep the pauldrons and gauntlets, as you probably are wearing crappy netch leather ones. But I warn you, eventually they will be attacking you in pairs with admantium paralyzing swords. This is when I report them to a guard. Why should they get the benefit of two?

Good luck on building up your character, I hope these tips played a part in that.

Oh So Powerful

1.) By now you probably have more power than you think. Has the absence of convenient levitation bothered you? Well now it won't. Travel to the to the Propylon chamber of Berandas, South of Gnisis, across the River Samsi, and to the East a tad. Based on your experience by now, I trust you packed for the journey. Don't literally go in the Proplyon chamber. Go into the other building. When you reach the lowest level. Explore until you reach a dead end with two winged twilights guarding a dead body. Kill the twilights and loot the body. Notice there will be a pair of boots called Boots of the Apostle. They are excellent when it comes to levitating. If you levitate up to the top of the room you are currently in, there is a woman. Give her a scroll of divine intervention and she will give you Mara's Skirt. It has 20% magical resistance with constant effect. Combine this with that Savior's Hide, and tada... 80% resistance total.

2.) Is speed a factor for you? If so, this will help you. Find an outlaw trader by the name of Pemenie on the road north of Caldera on your way to Ald'ruhn. She will want you to escort her to Gnaar Mok in return for the
Boots of Blinding Speed. You can escort her if you want. I just kill her and remove the boots from her body. I'm too lazy, and why would I want to  waste my time with a quest like that. Plus, what would Gnaar Mok want with a felon like herself anyway? The boots will grant you will increase your speed 200 points as long as you wear them. The catch is, if you have no magic resistance you will be blinded 100%. In this case, if you aquired the Cuirass of the Savior's Hide, you will only be blinded 40%. It won't be that much of a pain. There is one more catch, if you are wearing Mara's skirt there will be 20% more magical resistance and combined with the cuirass a total of 80% which works out to be only 20% blind.

3.) If you don't want you go through entire part of the main quest, just so you can kill Dagoth Ur this is for you. Go to the
Cavern of the Incarnate. It is in the Northeastern part of the Ashlands. Once you get there, you might have to wait. It is only open at a certain part of the day. Once inside, pick up the Moon and Star Ring, situated in the hands of a giant statue. A bunch of ghosts will appear from the mummies resting against the walls. Don't kill them, they won't harm you. Speak to each one, listen to their story and take what they have to offer you. Now you are the Neverine. To get even further. Instead, just go to Vivec's palace and kill him. If you have Azura's star, capture his soul. Take the Unique Dwemer Artifact from his body and go to the Tower of Tel Fyr. You will have to go down to the Corprusarium full of corprus baddies. Don't harm one a scratch, this could jepordize your relationship with Divayth Fyr and his daughters. Talk to Yagrum. You'll know who he is. He is the stupidest thing I have ever seen in the entire game of Morrowind. I don't know how he grew legs like that. Anyway, do a quest for him and then he will activate Wraithguard for you. Now all you have to do is seek out Sunder and Keening and kick some Dagoth Ur but. Note: There is a way to stop the corprus baddies from attacking you. Supposably, it has something to do with a lute and a calming spell? I will update you on this later when I find out for myself.

Well, I hope you have had an interesting adventure. I know, some tips and the whole page in general seemed a bit lengthy to you, but use what you like and the underlined words should help you navigate a little better.

Theory

I just thought of a theory that just might work. It is yet untested. You know how when you break into Vivec's temple in the beginning and you can attack him while he just stands there? Well supposably, you could kill him using hand to hand combat. It could take forever, but might just bring up your hand to hand quite a bit. I have had my fair share of hand to hand fighting, and you know how long Vivec's life span is. If you do test this, send me a friendly little email and tell me how it went. Thanks.
