Paul Avrin: m3 FAKE +36

    Paul 307
    Phil 311 AEEMNOU

    Pool: ACDHILNOOORSTV

An interesting turn of events. Observe my rack and the unseen pool: by playing off the E, Paul unknowingly relinquishes his shot at a high-scoring two-way play at 11e.

I suggest 13e KAF +29 is best, and I don't care what his leave is! It's not much of a points sacrifice since the E in FAKE allows counterplay at n6, while KAF only offers me m3 instead, which I might not be able to use for more than 20ish. Keeping his E is huge of course, but note also that KAF makes it very difficult for me to block the QUANTAL spot, as reasonable scoring plays off the C are now gone. With KAF in the way, my blocking options that score anything are extremely limited (NARD/NARC/NERD, and right now I don't have them). It's likely to be Paul's winningest move.
