It's not totally accurate to say I "missed" the best play, i7 POGROMED +70, because I did see it! Unfortunately, I mistakenly assumed that the verb form of pogrom doubles the M in the past tense. The single M spelling just looked too oddball to me, so I passed on it. I can't recall having ever seen either word in print.

In the universe in which I'm right and only POGROMMED* is good, then PROG is probably still 2nd best behind j7 GAMP +15, for its superior leave and defensive value.
