The week passed swiftly and Christmas is here.
Faith never called home for the whole of one week and Kevin was worried sick.
Everyone felt so helpless.
Nick felt the worst.
He thought that he was the cause of her leaving.
Well, the Christmas party goes on as usual.
Their friends came over and everyone were enjoying themselves with the exception of the guys, Mandy,
Leighanne and Kathy.
"Today is Christmas and she should at least call home..." Kevin said.
"Don't worry...maybe it just slipped out of her mind." Brian said.
"Are you sure you don't wanna call home? It's Christmas, ya know?" Faith's friend Mel asked.
The guys had called Mel several times to confirm whether they knew where Faith had gone and
she was actually staying with her.
She had to lie or Faith will kill her for sure.
"Yes...I know...but I can't, Mel..." Faith reply reluctantly.
Seeing that Faith is frustrated, Mel left her alone and went out of her room.
Faith had missed them like mad.
She will take out her photo album everyday and cry as she looked at each and every photo.
She isn't having a great time herself either.
She tried to sneak back to her house once to catch a glimpse of Nick but because of some reason,
she backed out.
"Ahhh..." she moaned as her hands flew to her chest.
She collapsed to the floor, knocking down a chair.
"Faith??" Mel knocked on her door.
Hearing no reply, she opened the door and found a fainted Faith on the floor.
Mel got all tensed up and was shaking Faith to wake her up, but to no avail.
Then, she ran to the phone to call the ambulance.
The ambulance soon came and carried Faith away.
As soon as they reach the hospital, Faith is rushed into the emergency room immediatly.
Mel found a nearby phone and called back to Kevin's house.
"Hello? Is this Kevin?"
"Yes...who is this?"
"I am Mel...well, I have to tell you this, Faith is in hospital right now."
"Huh?? What happened to her?"
"I don't really know but she fainted...and...I don't know how to explain all this."
"Alright, just tell me which hospital she's in now!"
"Orlando General Hospital."
"We'll be right there." Kevin put down the phone and run out of the house immediatly.
The others follow him.
"What happened, Kev?" Kathy asked.
"Faith's in hospital NOW!!" Kevin shouted.
Everyone was shocked and they quickly got into their car and drove down to the hospital.
"Kevin, look where you're going..." Brian said, as he held on tight to his seat belt.
Kevin was so worried that he drove so fast that the tire was making screeching noises as he turned.
Somehow, they finally got to the hospital.
Everyone ran into the hospital and Nick was practically running into everything along the way.
They found Mel standing in front of the emergency room, looking flustered.
"How's Faith?" Kevin asked.
"She's...she's been in there for half an hour..." Mel shivered with fear.
There was nothing that they could do.
Nurses kept running in and out of the emergency room and none of them stopped to answer their question.
"Please don't let anything happen to her..." Nick prayed.
"Alright Nick...tell us the truth." Kevin asked.
"What?"
"You knew what was going on, right?"
Nick kept silence.
"Nick, don't treat me as a three year old kid. I can see that Faith had grown closer to you before she left.
And I think the reason she left is also because of you, right?"
"NO!! She...she..." Nick broke into a hysterical cry.
Everyone was surprised and sense that Nick must have knew something that they doesn't know.
"Tell us Nick." Brian said, putting a hand onto Nick's shoulder.
Nick wiped his tears away and sat down on a chair.
"She...she had heart problems..."
"Oh god..." everyone gasped.
"What heart problem?" Kevin probes.
"She went to see a doctor because of pains in her heart...he told her that her heart is defecting, and
that she must have a heart replacement or she'll...die anytime..."
"Why didn't you tell us?" Kevin pulled Nick by the collar.
"WHY??"
The others pulled him away and tried to calm him down.
"She doesn't want you guys to worry..."
"Why did she tell you only?" Kevin shouted.
"She didn't tell me...I know it when I was looking at her diary that night when we return from the tour.
She woke up and told me not to tell anyone..."
The doctor suddenly came out of the emergency room and Nick run to him.
