Benda Keras Intro
Tired of your Pentium 2 box ? Want a new system for you to play Half-Life 2 ? Cool, go check out Dell's ad for one of their P4's, convince your dad to spend RM3000 for those and you'll be on cloud 9 fragging stuff you only dream of doing with your last computer. For how long ?. 6 months gone and you find your Dell struggling to render frames of that time's latest games. My word on Dell - It sucks.
The same goes to all those PC manufacturers who sell PC's in Malaysia. Technology now is growing only so fast. CPU speeds double every 2 years. The latest most powerful graphic cards cost more than a whole budget PC setup. And I find these people selling PC's with last year's specifications. So how do local gamers get fast systems without paying RM6000 for the best Dell spec ?

Build one your own, you ____

When I wanted a new PC last year to replace my aging Pentium166, My father challenged me to build one my own when his friend's son put one together in a...wooden box(?) So, I built one, and it worked, and I used it to write this page. Amazing, I know. Not in a crate though, that can come later.
It's easy, and the best of all, it's cheap, because you cut down on kos sampingan(omg I still remembered). What you get is a fast PC and and you can make it go faster. I did, mine's a P4 2Ghz, but I make it go 2.3. If you build one, you'll know how. If you freakily want to try this out, here's some of Eokboy's tips(don't worry, its not like my
PMR tips) :

1. Do your research

- Read magazines, surf the web for info.

2. Ask yourself

- What you want, how much money you have.

3. Plan carefully

- What components you want to buy.

4. Learn from your mistakes

- Very important, since you don't want to buy a PC anymore once you built one yourself, you might
as well use your valuable exp for your next PC.

There you go, think of the skills you can gain. I got a job offer, but you know PMR. If for any reason you find yourself failing to get your computer to boot after spending so much money, feel free to sue me.
