Emmanuel T. Nwaimah
I was born in Victoria, Cameroon, where I completed elementary and junior high school. After senior high school in Northwestern Cameroon, I attended University of Ibadan in Nigeria where I graduated with the Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed.) and the Master of Library and Information Studies degree (MLS) in 1989. I have worked as Librarian/Information Resource Center Director for the U.S. Department of State, American Embassy in Yaounde, Cameroon for ten years, but have recently become a full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) student in a university in Texas. In my spare time, I listen to a variety of music on FM radio in the Dallas/Forth Worth Metroplex. I have also taken a keen interest in listening to music stations broadcasting live audio streams on the Internet. My preferred stations are NRJ in Oslo, Norway; Xtra FM in Costa Brava, Spain; Heart Digital in London, UK; and The Voice in Copenhagen, Denmark. The quality of their audio streaming content make these stations entertaining.

My hobbies and interests include Internet browsing, sky watching, traveling in foreign countries, and meditation. I have travelled widely in Africa and a few countries in Europe. I enjoy putting the strong skills and wide knowledge gained in my previous position at the benefit of people researching on Cameroon and Africa. I speak, understand, read and write French, can read and understand Spanish. Since 1995, I've been a member of the American Library Association. In 1997, I attended the annual conference of the association held in San Francisco, California at a time when developments in information technology were impacting on the practice of librarianship and information management.
I was raised by a single mom upon the death of my father in early childhood. The oldest child, I have four other siblings viz: two boys and two girls. Edward is a chemist by training, while Elias is an animal scientist with the livestock ministry in Yaounde. Beatrice is a media professional with a private media outfit in Yaounde and Immaculate is in high school.

I have a mom,  two sisters, and two brothers. My dad is of late! I am the oldest child of my parents. My sisters are younger than my  brothers. One brother is an animal scientist while the other is a chemist. The older of the two sisters is a media professional.
