Japanese Words (Honorifics) ��
If you read manga or watch anime you're likely to come across the Japanese honorifics at some point. I sometimes use the honorifics in my stories when it's appropriate. This is a list of the honorifics I use and what they mean. If you have any comments, corrections, or words you think I should add please

-sama - sama is very polite, used with a boss or someone who ranks higher than you do.
-kun - kun is used for a friend most commonly used refering to boys
-chan - chan is an affectionate ending, often used with children or for girls
-dono - dono is old polite, very slightly less polite than sama (even Japanese get confused about this one.)
-sempai/-senpai - sempai/-senpai is used for upperclassmen by younger students
-kouhai - kouhai is used by for lowerclassmen by older students
-sensei - sensee is used for teachers/doctors/writers, anyone who has specialized in an area.
-kaichou - kaichou means boss or captian
