After receiving her graphic design degree from the university in 1991
Kayeleigh was working as a freelance production artist and sign-maker
for the United
States Olympic Wrestling and Hockey teams when she began painting
seriously.
The first public exhibition of Kayeleigh's work took place in the fall of 1992 during a group showing near Denver. Shortly afterwards, the artist joined a modern art cooperative and began exhibiting her paintings on a regular basis. After a successful one-man show in Denver, Kayeleigh 's paintings traveled to New York and California for exhibition. As the 1994 NYC exhibit came to a close, Kayeleigh began working as the Director/Curator of a contemporary art gallery in Denver.
In Jan.1996,
Kayeleigh went to work as a Layout Artist in the Yellow Pages Advertising department
of US West Direct- Dex after which time she
was offered an Art Director's position for an agency whose primary client was
Qwest Communications Int'l.
In the fall of 1998, the fine artist's passion returned and like many artists before, Kayeleigh sojourned to Italy to study the great masters.. Currently, the artist is working as a Freelance Designer and has begun painting a series of small format oils which will be featured in future exhibitions...
