by: enslaved heart Locked in a world of darkness.. Pain and sorrow had taken it's toll. I searched for the wisdom of someone Who would release and free my soul. I searched to find a Master.. I waited so long til at last. Knowing He was the right one I knew what to say when He asked. "How long do you crave my protection? To feel the power of My will? How long do you wish I control you... your needs and desires I can fulfill?" "How long do you need My guidance.. To teach you to risk and to grow? How long will you trust My judgement.. As your strengths and weakness I know?" "How long do you vow to be faithful For your heart will belong to only One? How long will you submit and serve Me For your days of freedom are done?" As I looked into Your eyes and smiled.. and nervously reached for Your hand. The walls that had held me prisoner faded because You have helped me to understand. I know well what is my answer Without hesitation I start. My answer is true and assured Because it comes straight from my heart. All that I am, I give to You. I will not deny You.. not never. My answer is but one simple word.. Master, my answer is.. "Forever".
