by: Sir Wolfr1 2004 Her eyes were filled with tears She bowed her head not dareing to look upon his face And trembled with wanting and fear "My Master" she said in a quivering voice That spoke far more than her words did say "I present myself to you for punishment For I know well my crimes this day" "And what were those crimes my little one?" Her Master did say with a frown As he looked upon the collar upon her neck That she wore as a princess wears a crown "I was rude, abusive upon you my Lord I spoke to you in a manner to which I had no right And so I now bring to you your flogger and bare my flesh That I might be made once more worthy of your sight I know my sins and know them well We both know the words that I did say Pleace accept my offering and remove this stain For the shame I cannot bear another day" Her Master looked down upon her, wise and strong He understood the feeling that like a river ran in her heart He reached down low and gathered her unto his breast This woman of whom he was so much a part "Come with me my little one" he said As he smiled and softly took her hand "There is something that I think you need to see If you are to hope to truly understand" And gently her Master took her from the room Took her to a cliff overlooking the sea She realized there was a lesson to her that he would teach But had no idea what this lesson might be "Look upon the waves my love" he said "As they pour upon the rocky beach An eternal dance of stone and tide A language far beyond that of speech As they spend themselves upon the barren stones Does it anger the shore that it must accept it's blows Or do the rocks accept and allow the anger the waves to be spent? Understanding sometimes the strong must accept rather than oppose You were angry at things you could not control And without thinking you spent that anger on me I accept that anger in strength and love As do the cliffs accept the anger of the sea" She knelt at his feet as a tear did fall Like soft and gentle spring rain And looked with love at this gentle man To whom she was bound to by love, the strongest chain "When you are bad my pet" he said with a smile "Rest assured you will in full measure feel my wrath To descipline you without understanding the reason why My love I will not go down that rocky path So rise my pet and stand at my side And know that we two are in truth but one For the dance is not over and the music still plays And the magic has not even begun"
