It was a human that started the first war. His name was Vilidad. Vilidad's brother was a great mage. Vilidad envied the great praise his brother got. Every day his brother would set off to heal some people and he would come back with his admirierers flocking after him. In truth Vilidad's brother was always kind to Vilidad. But in Vilidad's mind all his brother had for him was contempt.
Soon Vilidad's father died. Vilidad's brother was older so naturally he got the inheritance. Vilidad was more envious than ever. Vilidad swore to get revenge on his brother. So he killed him. He crept in his brother's room one night when he was sleeping and struck him on the head with a heavy mace. That was the end of peace in the world. Vilidad was banished but nothing was ever the same.
