Britannia II, or as everyone at the barn lovingly calls him, Andy, came to us from the prestigious Evendim Stables, run by Shahla. Hunting for the perfect horse to start my program with, she suggested him; I went down to her stable, pulled him out, and it was like I had always been around him he was so well behaved. As I groomed him and tacked him up, he didn't flinch. He lowered his head and took the bit with no hassle. As I test rode him, I felt like I was riding a cloud. His gaits are so fluid, you hardly have to work at all. He is truly a push button horse. We've even gotten our Paso Fino trainer, Richard, to ride him, and he couldn't believe how smooth he is either! Having his sire compete in Grand Prix dressage and his dam compete in Intermediare II dressage, Andy is set up for success. While he sat around for a few years before beginning his training, he has been doing wonderfully so far, and we hope to get him up to the Grand Prix level before he retires, just like his father.
