Parks and Spots

Purple East-this is one of the two parks that are in grand rapids its pretty good its kinda small. u always have to wear a helmet which sucks its 5 bucks. click for pictures. i recommend this park if u like wearing a helmet but otherwise its not worth the 5 bucks more than once.
East Grand Rapids-theres some really good spots in east. a lot of them are at the highschool.there you have the science wing with some stairs.then kabokies with ledges and other stairs.then some loading docks in the back by the football staduim.and just down the street from the highschool is wealthy which only really offers a manual pad.all and all there are some really fun spots in east. click for pictures.
Modern- this is a really good park but just like purple east its cost money 14$ for non members and 7$ for members. its a really good park other than the money thing. josh kalis skates here a bit so you may just see him. and if your over 13 only helmet required but under 13 its all pads.click for pictures
ranney skate park(lansing)- this one is the first real concrete park we'd skated and it was just nuts. the street course was crazy and the concrete was done excellently team pain knows how to build parks. this was one of the most fun parks i've ever been too plus no pads or helmets which was great. pictures pages 1 2
Kona-i skated this park last spring break when i went to my aunts down in florida this is probally the best park ive ever skated it was full of history i even saw some pros namely lance mountain. the street course is sick. the concrete is insane. and i'm sure u all know it well from tony hawk 4. the only bad thing was full pads but whatever cause it was kona. click for pictures
