Hello there and welcome!

The bell has tolled and another year is coming to a close. With the dawn of a new year comes the usual banal comments. Oh didn't it go by fast? I will lose weight this year! I will quit smoking! Many idle promises will be made and most will fall by the way-side. This is why I am making a "nice" new year's resolution for next year. I already quit smoking, I am a good weight and I'm too lazy to work-out. What can I do instead? But of course, it's so obvious. Bowling! As my new year's resolution I am going to frequent bowling alleys and graft at my new found hobby. I usually go bowling about once a month, if not less often. I tend to be pretty good for a guy that hardly plays (I usually rack up about 150) so why not aye? I might even join a league, who knows? I can get my own ball! Yeah, a purple 14 lb bad boy with a rose in the middle. On the stem will be scribed "Neil da skill" and all will tremble in my wake! OK maybe not, but you only find out if you try.

Much has happened this past year. I could babble on about terrorism and war all day, but you don't want to see that do you? No, you want to hear about me! Well here is my blow-by-blow evaluation of 2001....

3 best things I did: Signed up for a Psychology degree, quit smoking and went to Canada for a holiday!

3 worst things I did: Nearly broke a guys leg in a football match, said c*nt too much and ate too much junk food.

3 best films I saw: Lord of the rings, Meet the parents, Shrek.

3 worst films I saw: Blair Witch 2, Final fantasy, 51st State.

3 best songs I heard: Slipknot - Left behind, Sunshine Anderson - Heard it all before, System of a down - Chop suey.

3 worst songs I heard: Anything by boy bands!

Last year's resolution: Quit smoking!

Succeed? Surely did and it was damned easy.
