~You can complain because the roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because the thorns have roses~
This has been a favorite verse of eniad for a great many years. The girl has pondered the meaning many times and many ways, only upon meeting her Master did it take on a new and astounding meaning to her.
The pain of a journey is much like a rose, you may see only the thorns yet not the petals. Walking through the world one meets pain and distrust, but we must look to the velvet touch of the petals and past the sting of the thorns.

Striving though time we must release the pain of the thorns, it is how the rose can survive in the ever changing seasons of time. The gardener will see the rose only for what it truly is, accepting it as the best of worlds, the beauty and the beast.

To diminish the sting of the thorn one must open as the blossom to reach forth to the healing rays of the sun, extending up with radiance, even at these times letting the other take over. The rose may flourish or strike out in independence of the other, yet to always return.

Every rose has a thorn, yet not every thorn has a rose.
