| Paul Kilbane and Jimmy King introduced the third ever edition of Final Hour in the build up to Breaking Point. They talked about the big matches going down at Breaking Point including the Heavyweight title match between GBH and Steve Farrell. Kilbane then announced that for the first time ever the Heavyweight title would be up for grabs on the Final hour as Havoc takes on GBH. 'Nature Boy' Steve Farrell came out to the ring wearing the FXW Heavyweight title belt and said that he wasn't handed that belt, he earned it unlike GBH earning the EWE title. Farrell spoke of wrestling tradition and then went on to say that at Breaking Point he would beat GBH to become the 19 times Backyard Wrestling champion. Heavyweight champion GBH then interrupted and said that ten years ago Farrell may have been a champion but the EWE title was all about the new school. GBH then promised that he would walk out of Breaking Point still the Heavyweight champion. After more abuse by the champion aimed towards the Nature Boy, Farrell had heard enough and lashed out with a punch to the champ. The two started to brawl but were then separated by Ed of Security and his assistant. In the Commissioner's office - X-Con stood talking to himself when his old enemy Crowcain walked in on him. Crowcain said that he had heard about the tag team battle royal going down at Breaking Point where the titles are on the line. He then added that he did not have a partner and surprisingly asked the Commish if he would team with him. X-Con with some convincing accepted the invitation but made it clear that he did not want anything to do with Crowcain's illegal trading. Crowcain was delighted and then asked if he could store some stuff in the office, X-Con said yes and Crowcain dragged a number of bags in to the office and told X-Con to make sure no body sees them. In a massive shocker UKBYW Legend Danny Dreamer made his way out to the ring to address the fans. Dreamer said he was at EWE to prove that the old school could still kick it in the new school age. He then made an open challenge to any 'newbie' who fancied their chances. The challenge was accepted by Spanish sensation El Diablo as the two then went head to head on Final Hour! Danny Dreamer Vs. El Diablo The pair tied up and exchanged some basic wrestling holds, Diablo locked Dreamer in a headlock but Dreamer pushed him off and drop kicked him in the face. The crowd was fully behind Dreamer who then hit a sit out spine buster before going up high and connecting with a cross body. As Dreamer showed that the old school could still 'kick it' Diablo grew more determined to proof himself and at one point nearly knocked Dreamer out when he connected with an ensuguri. The Spanish sensation was pulling out all the stops to try and beat Dreamer; he came very close after hitting a sit out powerbomb. However Dreamer came just as close when he set up Diablo for the FU only for Diablo to counter it and send Dreamer face first to the ground with a drop toe hold. Again though Dreamer battled back and then lifted Diablo up for the FU once again, however Diablo's foot caught the referee in the head sending him down. Dreamer hit the FU and made a cover only to realise the referee was down. Suddenly to everyone's surprise NLW's John Johnson and Roadkill hit the ring, Johnson super kicked Dreamer and Roadkill hit the high way to hell. Before leaving the ring Johnson placed Diablo over Dreamers fallen body, the referee got up and made the three count given Diablo a massive win. Winner - El Diablo (pinfall) In the Commissioner's office - General Manager Ian Loveless with his sidekick Ed of Security told X-Con that he was not the only one who could use his power to book himself in matches. The GM added that he was also going to be in the tag team title battle royal with his partner, Ed of Security. Ian Loveless said that if it was up to him X-Con would not even be in EWE but because he is good friends with Dave Spielberg he manages to keep his Commissioners job. Up on leaving, Loveless spat on X-Con's desk leaving the Commissioner looking rather angry. GBH Vs. Havoc <EWE World Heavyweight Championship Match> This was a big test for the Heavyweight champion as he came up against the unbelievable power of Havoc. Straight away from the tie up Havoc over powered GBH taking him down the ground where he then kneed him in the head. Another tie up followed and once again Havoc just simply over powered the worried champion and pushed him down. The match went back and fourth with GBH using his technical ability to try and wear down Havoc with submission holds, meanwhile Havoc used his power to weaken the back of the champion. Early in the match Havoc came so close to winning the title after delivering his trademark tombstone and getting a two count. The Dark Carnival member then hit a sit out slam followed up by a planting double under hook DDT. Desperately GBH tried to lock on the GBache but Havoc just powered out of it and responded by hitting a big back breaker followed up by a TKO. Amazingly out of the blue Havoc downed GBH with his finisher the Orange Crush powerbomb but much to everyone's disappointment GBH kicked just before the three count. The challenger was running out of ideas so decided to start and climb the ladder to hit a high-risk move. GBH quickly got up and from behind he locked Havoc in the GBache. Havoc then desperately started to tap out as GBH once again was victorious, but would it be the same story at Breaking Point? Winner - GBH (pinfall) |
