Steve Farrell walked in to the General Managers office and told Ian Loveless he had a proposition for him.  Farrell said that he wanted a non title match with GBH later in the show where if he won he would go on to the main event of the Great British Bash to fight for the EWE heavyweight title.  Ian Loveless nodded and granted the Nature Boy the match.

Ed of Security w/Ian Loveless  Vs.  Crowcain
This match was signed last week by Loveless after Crowcain had sold some dodgy stuff to Ed.  Just before the match got underway Loveless took the referee's shirt and made himself the special guest referee.  Ed locked Crowcain in a wristlock and applied the pressure tightly before laying in a big boot to the mid section.  The head of security was showing an aggressive side and even picked up some steel steps and launched them into his opponent.  The match then had a touch of comedy as Ed accidentally knocked Loveless down only to be pushed over the back of the fallen GM by Crowcain.  The market trader then connected with a leg drop only to see a slow one count from the biased special guest referee.  Ed countered with a rolling neck breaker as again the match ended up with comedy from the two competitors.  Crowcain climbed the ladder but was caught out by Ed who got him in position for the running power slam but Crowcain rolled down his back and hit modified DDT.  Again though the referee refused to count and actually then helped Ed to lift Crowcain up in a vertical position and drop him on his head.  Ed then delivered his trademark running power slam, which was enough for a fast three count and win for Ed of Security.
Winner - Ed of Security (pinfall)

Backstage Ozzy Mayhem approached his Dark Carnival teammate Richard Carey and said he had a really good plan to get back at Sparxx.  Before Ozzy had the chance to tell Carey the plan, Carey said he had to go for a match.  Mayhem wished Carey good luck and told him he would tell him the plan later on.

Richard Carey  Vs.  Mikey Wreckage
This was a technical display from both guys and it showed just why both competitors have been climbing the ranks in recent weeks.  The two fan favourites shook hands before locking up and going in to a combination of chain wrestling and athletic ability.  Carey pounced at Wreckage and delivered a flying head scissors but it wasn't enough to keep Wreckage down.  The experience of Wreckage came in handy at times but at other times Carey was just too fast.  Again Carey was on the counter attack, this time hitting a well-timed wheelbarrow bulldog.  Eventually Wreckage found a comeback as he hit Carey with a nice snap suplex and then threw him back first in to the ladders.  Carey nearly received a concussion as Wreckage delivered a number of stiff boots to the head of the young rookie.  Both men were becoming tired and out of nowhere Wreckage connected with an STO but was too hurt to make a cover straight away.  By the time Wreckage made a cover Carey had time to recover and kick out on the two.  Wreckage approached the referee in protest claiming it was a three count, Carey came from behind and connected with the RKO.  It was enough for a three count and a big confidence booster win for Richard Carey.
Winner - Richard Carey (pinfall)

Backstage General Manager Ian Loveless made the long awaited huge announcement regarding next EWE show.  He said that the next scheduled PPV was the Great British Bash in October, but as a bonus EWE would be presenting a Royal Rumble on September 12th.  The winner of the Royal Rumble would then face GBH straight after the rumble match for the EWE Heavyweight title.

GBH   Vs.  'Nature Boy' Steve Farrell  <Non Title>
Steve Farrell did not even let GBH get to the ring before running out and attacking him.  Farrell delivered a number of punches to the face sending GBH down to the floor as they got nearer the ring.  Once in the ring a very focussed and determined Steve Farrell continued his attack on the Champion known that he was a win away from getting a title shot at the Great British Bash.  GBH revered an Irish whip and sent Farrell up and over with a back body drop as he then delivered some chops and forearms.  Adrenaline was pumping threw the Nature Boy and he did not stay down for long as he hit back at GBH with a trademark running knee to the head and some chops.  GBH appeared to grab a chain from the corner of the ring but neither Farrell nor the referee saw it as GBH wrapped it around his wrist.  Farrell pulled the champion down and was about to lock on the figure four when GBH smashed his fist wrapped with chain in to Farrell's forehead.  Somehow Farrell staggered up but was then smashed again as blood ran down his face, the referee saw it and disqualified GBH.  The Champion didn't care though and just snapped as he continued his beat down on Farrell using the chain as more and more blood came from the head of Steve Farrell.
Winner - Steve Farrell (DQ)

The cameras showed a bloody Steve Farrell being helped to the backstage area where he repeatedly cussed GBH sending out a warning.

Backstage Danny Dreamer was stopped in his travels by Alexander A Loveless who started to insult Dreamer saying he isn't what is good in EWE.  Loveless claimed that Sparxx was the best thing in EWE and the dead man would be more then happy then to teach 'da white boy' a lesson or two.  Sparxx then came up from behind and went face to face with Dreamer.  After staring each other out Sparxx just pushed Dreamers head back and walked off to prepare for the match.

Costa  Vs.  Ozzy Mayhem
The cocky Costa entered with a welsh flag and placed it out before walking over it, clearly insulting his ex friend Dan Dreamer who he turned on last week.  The match started with Costa stomping on Ozzy's leg and then lifting it sending it crashing in to the ground.  Costa continued his work on the leg of Ozzy Mayhem as he twisted it then again stomped on it.  Two tie ups followed and on the second Costa pushed Ozzy back against the ladders and slapped him across the face.  Ozzy Mayhem was mad and responded with a clothesline to take Costa down followed by some uppercuts to the face.  Mayhem then had Costa in a front face lock and turned it in to a northern lights suplex but moments later Costa was going right back to the worn down leg of Ozzy Mayhem.  Costa blocked a hang mans neck breaker by simply kicking the back of Ozzy's hurt leg, to injure the leg more Costa started to slam Ozzy's leg off the ladders.  A two count followed and an unhappy Costa grabbed the referee and started to argue, Ozzy struggled to his feet and attempted to MKO Costa but he moved and the referee ended up feeling the devastating kick.  While the referee was down, Costa dragged Ozzy to the outside where he set up a table under the stack of crates.  Costa ran at Ozzy and jumped on his shoulders for a hurricarana but Ozzy blocked it and stepped up on the crates with Costa on his shoulders still, he then delivered a sit out powerbomb threw the table.  The pair struggled back to the ring where the referee has got back up to his feet.  Danny Dreamer then came out holding a chair as he looked at Costa wanting revenge for what happened last week.  Costa started to back off and looked scared as Ozzy Mayhem came from behind and rolled him up for the three count.  Dreamer threw the chair down and shook Ozzy's hand as the camera focussed on an injured Costa for what could be his last time on EWE TV.
Winner - Ozzy Mayhem (pinfall)

Crowcain came out to the isle way where he spotted UBW wrestler Komodo and attempted to sell him a Walkman.  Komodo wanted it but didn't want to pay for it and when Crowcain asked for fifty pounds Komodo just took it and put it in his pocket.  The dodgy trader was not happy and stormed off saying he was going to tell Ian Loveless.

Backstage Alexander A Loveless was giving Sparxx a pep talk telling him that Dan Dreamer was nothing.  Suddenly Dreamer came from behind with a chair and smashed it over the back of Sparxx as he then shouted 'get him'.  Ozzy Mayhem and Richard Carey then grabbed A Loveless and dragged him away against his will.  Dreamer then dragged Sparxx out to the isle way for the main event but the match was not officially underway as the pair went at it.  Sparxx hit back hard and over powered Dreamer choke slamming him threw the announcers table for good measure.  Sparxx dragged Dreamer to the ring as the match officially got underway.  Once in the ring Sparxx tombstoned Dreamer and collected a three count as Dreamer lay out cold.  Once Sparxx noticed Loveless had gone missing he started top panic and ran to the backstage area as Meltdown went off the air, remember EWE returns 12th September with Royal Rumble!
