| The show kicked off with 'Nature Boy' Steve Farrell walking out to the ring to address the crowd. Farrell said that last week when he beat Psycho Kid in a loser leaves match he experienced his worst ever experience in BYW to date. He said it was bad because he respects PK and values his real life friendship and never wanted to see him leave. The Nature Boy then went on to make a personal thank you to PK for all he had done in EWE and UKBYW. Farrell added that Ian Loveless over stepped the mark by making him fight in a career vs. career match, just as Farrell said it the General Manager Ian Loveless made his way out. The GM said that Farrell again was stuck in the past and made a cheap remark about how Psycho Kid was no longer in EWE. Loveless said that because Farrell had beat PK he would be facing GBH at Breaking Point and therefore for the safety of GBH, Farrell would have to leave the arena and stay clear of EWE until the big match. Loveless then called for Security to escort Farrell away, the two security members grabbed Farrell's arms and begun to escort him away but the Naitch just lashed out and punched them both sending them down to the ground. Then Farrell went for Loveless but the GM ran away and Farrell give chase to the backstage area. El Diablo Vs. Chris Taylor <Cruiserweight title semi final number 2> The winner of this match would go on to Breaking Point to face Rage for the cruiserweight title after Rage beat Richard Carey last week in the other semi final. The match started off at a fast pace with the pair exchanging arm drag takedowns. Taylor planted Diablo's head in to the ground after a perfectly hit wheelbarrow bulldog. The Spanish sensation surprisingly matched Taylor in some exchanging of holds and then took him down with a clothesline. Diablo lifted Taylor up and connected with a good timed stalling vertical suplex. Being a former EWE Cruiserweight Champion, Taylor did not stay down for long and hit back with a flying head scissors followed up by a standing Shooting star press. Chris Taylor continued his domination and connected with a harsh spinning heel kick coming close again to the win. Despite Diablo choking Taylor with his Spanish flag to try and pick up the win he still was not having much luck. The referee got accidentally taken out with a clothesline and Diablo brought a steel sign weapon in to the ring but Taylor avoided being hit with it by kicking Diablo in the stomach and then hip tossing him on to the sign. Taylor then connected with a Swanton and the referee got to his feet and Taylor finished Diablo off with a tornado kick connecting in the head. Winner - Chris Taylor (pinfall) Chris Taylor celebrated his victory as he was one step closer to getting the Cruiserweight title back. Suddenly Rage hit the ring and attacked him from behind, he stomped him down and then hit his modified f5 move before leaving his Breaking Point opponent out cold. Backstage Crowcain bumped in to a masked wrestler and tried to sell him a new mask for five pounds. The dodgy dealer was not having much luck so offered to give the masked wrestler the new mask for free. The luchadore was offended and shoved Crowcain before storming off, Crowcain finally took the hint and dumped the mask on the floor. In the Commissioners Office - X-Con told EWE Hardcore champion Havoc that for one week only the hardcore championship was on 24/7 ruling. Havoc just smiled and then laughed after X-Con told him to watch his back. Plague Vs. Nero <Hardcore Match> As the new member of the Dark Carnival Nero was looking to impress his new teammates with a win over ex hardcore champion Plague. A nice display of chain wrestling got the match underway but it was not long before Plague smashed Nero over the head with a steel chair. After the chair shots the two then went back in to a technical display of wrestling exchanging holds. After a while the action spilled to the outside where Nero bulldogged Plague on to a stack of wooden crates. In dedication to Psycho Kid, Nero attempted a red star press but missed allowing Plague to gain control of the match but that did not last long as they ended up at the famous ditch. Plague was knocked in to the ditch and then Nero ran at him connecting with a flip plancha. The battle went on and Plague sent Nero crashing threw a table with a back body drop. Still Nero managed to fight back on to his feet and brawled with Plague on top of the wooden crates. However this proved to be a mistake as Plague blocked a code red and delivered a devastating version of the kudu driver on the crates to pick up the three count and win. Winner - Plague (pinfall) Hardcore Champion Havoc made his way out for a match but upon entering he was tripped up by someone in the crowd and fell on to a metal tray, which looked like it had been planted there. The person in the crowd turned out to be X-Con and he then pinned the knocked out champion. A referee appeared and made the count as X-Con celebrated with the hardcore championship, now it all made sense as to why the Commish had brought the 24/7 ruling in for this week. In the GM's office - Alexander A Loveless and Sparxx approached Ian Loveless about the UK Championship. When all belts were handed in Sparxx had not handed in the UK title so Ian asked for the belt but Sparxx refused to hand it over. Alexander said that if Ian wanted the belt he would have to take it off Sparxx himself. Sparxx then walked around the other side of the desk and went face to face with the General Manager. A petrified Ian Loveless then announced that the only belts that had not been made vacant were the Heavyweight and now the UK Championship. Backstage Ozzy Mayhem told his brother Skank Rat how important it was that he beats Sparxx because if not Ozzy wouldn't get Rachael back. Havoc told Ozzy to relax and stop putting pressure on Skank Rat, Ozzy asked how he was meant to relax when Rach was at stake. Ozzy pushed Havoc away and Havoc pushed Ozzy back telling him never to push him, the two then had to be pulled apart by Richard Carey and Skank Rat. Sparxx w/A Loveless Vs. Skank Rat w/Ozzy Mayhem <UK Championship> Alexander A Loveless introduced his client but as Sparxx walked out Skank Rat jumped him from behind, as the match immediately got under way. The two made it to the ring as the match officially began. Sparxx attempted an early suplex but Skank Rat countered it by hitting a DDT. The brother of Ozzy Mayhem then wasted a lot of time and this allowed the dead man to get back to his feet. Sparxx then tried to chokeslam Skank Rat but once again Skank was one step ahead and countered with a hurricarana. Skank Rat's luck then ran out as Sparxx planted him with a pulling piledriver. However the speedy Skank Rat hit back and climbed high ready to hit an axe handle smash but Sparxx pulled the referee in front of him and Skank ended up nailing the referee. The match spilled to the outside where Skank rat attempted a Swanton from the pile of crates but missed, by the time the two competitors ended up back in the ring the referee was back up. Sparxx hit a few backbreakers showing his power advantage over Skank Rat. On the outside Ozzy Mayhem became more and more worried as the match went on, he shouted to his brother emphasising how important a win was. Both men came close to a win, Skank Rat picked up a two count after an elbow drop and Sparxx came close when he hit a sit out powerbomb. A determined Skank Rat climbed the ladders and jumped off in a cross body position but Sparxx caught him and reversed it in to a tombstone. It was lights out as Sparxx had picked up a win meaning Ozzy Mayhem would not get his girlfriend back. A devastated Ozzy Mayhem snapped and gave chase to Sparxx and Alexander A Loveless. Winner - Sparxx (pinfall) At the announce table Paul Kilbane and Jimmy King made a apology on behalf of EWE for the actions of Sparxx and Alexander A Loveless. The pair spoke about there disgust for how low the duo would actually go and said they hoped that somehow Ozzy Mayhem got her back. The masked wrestler seen earlier in the show made his way out on the isle way and introduced himself as Destiny. The softly spoken little guy then got aggressive and started to insult Crowcain for his attempts earlier in the show to sell him a mask. Crowcain then came out and a referee appeared and this had been made an official match. Crowcain Vs. Destiny Out of the two Crowcain has the more experience and he showed that threw out the match as he punished the up and coming rookie. Destiny's best moment came when he low blowed Crowcain early on and then connected with a nice leg drop. However Crowcain did not stay down for long and hit a nice suplex in an attempt to keep his small opponent down. Crowcain then concentrated on trying to make Destiny tap out as he locked in a tight arm bar. He then proceeded to choke slam the rookie on to some wood on the outside nearly being counted out in the process. Crowcain then dragged Destiny back in the ring where he climbed the ladder and hit an elbow drop. He pinned Destiny and celebrated a victory with the three count. Winner - Crowcain (pinfall) In the Commissioners Office - Hardcore champion and Commish X-Con decided that he would leave the show early and go home where he would be safe with his newly won title. As he was about to turn the corner to leave he was hit over the head with a steel sign by non other then Mikey Wreckage. Wreckage pinned the fallen Commish and won the hardcore title. In an ironic twist it now looked like Wreckage would be walking in to Breaking Point to face Plague as the hardcore champion. Backstage the cameras caught up with Ozzy Mayhem who was still looking for his missing girlfriend. Suddenly he heard Rach shouting for him and he kept on running when he suddenly came to a dark area. Much to his delight Rach was sitting under a tree and he ran over to her and checked she was ok. Rach then looked up over Ozzy's shoulder and started to panic as Sparxx then attacked Ozzy. Sparxx and Alexander Loveless then dragged Ozzy Mayhem to a near by abandon football field. They then handcuffed Ozzy to a crossbar on a goal frame and pulled out a steel chair. Sparxx blasted Ozzy in the ribs with the chair, and then in a sickening scene Loveless took the chair and blasted Ozzy in the face full force three times. Ozzy Mayhem was left unconscious hanging from the goal frame. MAIN EVENT - EWE Heavyweight Championship Match GBH Vs. Mikey Wreckage This was the Heavyweight champion against the hardcore champion but in this match the hardcore title was not valid. Wreckage had the fans firmly behind him in this one as the match got underway with a tense collar and elbow tie up. The champion then applied a hammerlock and then a front face lock as he then proceeded to knee Wreckage in the stomach. GBH then locked on a wristlock but Wreckage reversed it in to a wristlock of his own locking it on really tight. The champion countered it though by biting the challenger, a test of strength then followed where Wreckage came out on top and ended up rolling GBH up in to a pin for a two count. This was a very even match just like the one these two had all the way back on Meltdown 2. The pair seemed to know each other's every move because they had wrestled against each other so many times back in there XBWuk days. GBH locked in a number of submission holds in a attempt to make Mikey tap but Wreckage kept finding the strength to battle back. Wreckage often used his size to his advantage as he sent GBH down with a string of big clotheslines. The champion had a surprise of his own for everyone as he connected with a very uncharacteristic flip plancha on to the challenger. At one point in the match the two exchanged very stiff kicks to each other's heads but still neither man would stay down. GBH blocked a powerbomb only to be hit with an awesome inverted STO, which still was not enough for Wreckage to win the match with. Both men were tired after a hard fought battle but still GBH found the power to German suplex Wreckage and he then locked on the GBache. Wreckage was worn down and went down to the ground as the GBache was still locked on tightly. The referee dropped Wreckage's hand three times meaning he was out cold and once again GBH had retained his title. Steve Farrell then walked out and went face to face with the champion just staring him down and pointing at the title belt saying it would be his at Breaking Point. Winner - GBH (Knock out) |
