| 'Nature Boy' Steve Farrell made his way out to the ring and cut a promo about how EWE was in some what of a state due to a number of people not showing up. Farrell then went on to add that the EWE General Manager Osiris had been stripped of his GM duties because he was not at the show. The Nature Boy then dropped a bombshell that he was infact the new General Manager in EWE courtesy of owner Dave Spielberg. The new GM said that things were not going to be run like a circus anymore but were going to be run properly. Paul Kilbane and the returning Jimmy King presented the show asking questions of what would unfold threw out the show. King seemed to be holding his neck after only two weeks ago he was tombstoned by Sparxx and still had not fully recovered. Backstage Ozzy Mayhem was speaking with his girlfriend Rachael when Alexander A Loveless interrupted him. Loveless said that Sparxx had not forget it was Ozzy Mayhem who cost him the chance of a Heavyweight title shot back on Meltdown 9, Loveless added that Ozzy had made a 'deadly' mistake. The cameras followed Loveless as he walked off and approached Ian Security who was getting himself a drink. The cocky manager of Sparxx asked the head of security how his head was after having a staple in it on Meltdown 9 during the battle royal. Ian went on to take offence and argued with Loveless, the argument resulted in Ian challenging Loveless to a match. Ian Security Vs. Alexander .A. Loveless This was a surprisingly solid bout from the two non-wrestlers and the head of security really took it to Loveless. However Loveless had learned a lot of aggression from his client Sparxx and delivered some stiff shots to his opponent. Early on he tried to make Ian tap out using a well-applied single legged Boston crab but the tough head of security would just not tap out. The match soon turned in to a brawl and the pair ended up fighting on the outside, Loveless then pulled out a bag that he had planted and grabbed a staple gun from it. Then just like in the Meltdown 9 Battle royal Loveless proceeded to put a stable in the head of Ian. The two then battled it out around the commentary area and up the isle way, the referee had lost control so threw the match out putting it to a no contest. Despite the match being over the two still brawled and Ian humoured the crowd when he pulled out a sooty puppet and locked Loveless in the manibal paw. However Loveless got the last laugh as he slammed Ian down and walked away once again getting the better of the security guard. Winner - Draw (No Contest) In GM's office - Nailz, Rage and Cassie stood around Farrell's desk as the Nature Boy told them his plans. He mentioned that Rage was injured so would not be in action and then give Nailz the mission of beating Ozzy Mayhem in a singles match later in the show. The enthusiastic Nailz was up for the challenge when suddenly Commissioner X-Con walked in and asked if Farrell wanted to see him. The GM told X-Con he had wanted to see him because he had a job he needed him to take care of. The Commish asked what the job was and Farrell told him there had been a number of complaints about the smell of the toilet facilities so he wanted him to take care of it and clean up. X-Con was outraged and said it wasn't his job but Farrell said he must do it as that's what Commissioners are for. Before his match Ozzy told Rachael that it wasn't safe in EWE with Sparxx looking for revenge so she must not move incase something happens. He then walked off leaving her alone so that he could wrestle his match with Nailz. Nailz w/Rage & Cassie Vs. Ozzy Mayhem The two locked up and Ozzy instantly locked Nailz in a tight hammerlock but it was reversed in to a headlock and then moments later Nailz took Ozzy down with a clothesline. The match was a very technical one and the two wrestlers were pretty evenly matched, Mayhem worked on the arms of Nailz. Every so often Mayhem left the arms and hit a high impact move including a vertical suplex and moments later an ensuguri. Mayhem continued to out wrestle Nailz but then suddenly out of nowhere the veteran countered back with a sit out rock bottom picking up a close two count. Nailz dragged a groggy Ozzy back to his feet and connected with the Naylor bomb his finisher. The referee counted and on the three Ozzy somehow managed to get his foot on the rope giving himself another lifeline. Nailz was frustrated and slipped up when he attempted a clothesline only to miss and be nailed by Mayhem. As Nailz staggered up Ozzy connected with an awesome MKO, however before he could make the pin he heard a loud scream of help from Rachael in the backstage area. Ozzy was worried and instantly left the ring to find out what was going on backstage. Nailz again staggered up and the referee counted Ozzy out giving Nailz a very cheap victory, but more importantly was Rachael ok? Winner - Nailz (count out) At the arena entrance Crowcain appeared and said since he had been fired from EWE he needed to make a living. He pulled out a mobile phone and tried to sell it to Ian Security, Ian looked at the phone carefully and pointed out that it didn't even have a back on it. Crowcain quickly replied with 'what do you expect for 10 quid?' but Ian refused to buy the phone. A disappointed Crowcain then asked if he could enter the EWE arena to try and sell it to someone else and Ian let him. Meanwhile a frantic and worried Ozzy Mayhem searched for Rachael in the backstage area. While searching Ozzy saw fellow Dark Carnival member Richard Carey preparing for a match and he asked him if he had seen Rachael. Carey said he hadn't but told Ozzy he would help him search for her right after his cruiserweight title match with Chris Taylor. Mayhem convinced that Rachael wouldn't just wonder off when he had told her not too continued his search. Chris Taylor Vs. Richard Carey <EWE Cruiserweight championship match> This was Taylor's first title defence after winning the belt against eVo last week and it was Richard Carey's second chance of winning the cruiser title. These two performers to get this match underway produced some beautiful chain wrestling. Taylor then controlled the early stages of the match but maybe underestimated Carey who battled back in true cruiserweight style with a code red. However the champion did not stay down for long and he sent Carey crashing with a spinning heel kick followed up by a big kick to the back of the head. The champion came close to quickly retaining as he connected with a standing moonsault but could only keep the eager Carey down for a two. The fast pace of the match went on and Carey attempted to down Taylor with the RKO but was pushed away only for Taylor to nearly knock Carey out with a trademark tornado kick. This was enough for the three count, after the match Taylor helped Richard Carey up to his feet shook his hand. Winner - Chris Taylor (pinfall) In the GM's office Steve Farrell told Costa that he had Dave Spielberg on his back telling him to get EWE back on it's feet so he had to do something special, so Farrell told Costa he had better get his wrestling gear on because he was going to be facing Sparxx! At the arena entrance Dave Spielberg entered the EWE arena for the first time since EWE started. The owner just walked in and looked like he had something on his mind. Steve Farrell made his way out again and said that he was in control of EWE and would not lose control. The General Manager then said that he had already made a big impression when EWE Owner Dave Spielberg then cut him off. Spielberg appearing in his fed for the very first time said that things were way out of control as there were people going missing and all kinds. This lead to the owner then telling Farrell that if he did not see an improvement by Meltdown 15 he was fired. Hardcore champion Plague made his way out and started to insult Mikey Wreckage after his comments last week. Plague then called Wreckage out. Wreckage obliged and made his way in to the ring and again told Plague that Ozzy Mayhem was more hardcore then him. The hardcore champion then lashed out and the pair started to brawl, they ended up on the outside where officials and Commissioner X-Con separated them. The Commish then announced that at Breaking Point Wreckage would go one on one with Plague in a hardcore title match. Sparxx Vs. Costa <EWE UK Championship Match> As Sparxx entered everyone noticed that Alexander Loveless was not with him, so at this point it was obvious that Loveless had something to do with Rachael going missing. Costa did not seem intimated by Sparxx and straight away accepted a test of strength where Sparxx over powered him. After failing to deliver a wheelbarrow bulldog Costa ran back at Sparxx only to nearly have his head nearly taken off with a big boot. Against the odds Costa got back to his feet and blocked one of Sparxx's big right hand shots and locked in an arm lock. The EWE newcomer Costa was really giving his all to Sparxx and on a number of occasions came close to making him tap out. You can never count the dead man out though because moment's later Sparxx hit a harsh clothesline followed up by a big back breaker on Costa. Sparxx's assault continued with a pulling piledriver but it still was not enough o keep Costa down. As the match went on Sparxx blocked the six emotions of Costa and Costa blocked the tombstone. Sparxx accidentally nailed the referee when attempting to clothesline Costa, so Costa grabbed a road sign and started hitting the dead man with it. Then Costa climbed up high and attempted the orange bomb but Sparxx sat up, Sparxx then picked Costa up and sent him crashing with a deadly last ride picking up the victory. Winner - Sparxx (pinfall) After the match Ozzy Mayhem ran in and pounded on Sparxx asking 'where is she' over and over again. Eventually Ozzy backed off and Sparxx got to his feet and looked at Ozzy with a sadistic smile on his face as Meltdown 11 came to an end. |
