ENGLAND FIRE DEPARTMENT
LADIES AUXILLIARY
The England Fire Department's Ladies Auxilliary was established on September 11, 2003 with 5 ladies present.
The officers for the ladies auxilliary include:
Leah Cox -- President
Sarah Chaney -- 1st Vice President
Jennie Miller -- 2nd Vice President
Chasity Nutz -- Secretary
Tammy Roberts -- Treasurer
The ladies auxilliary was established in order for wives, moms, sisters, and significant others of the firefighters could show their support for the firefighters who risk their lives each time that they are called out. The ladies assist on-scene with drinks and meals(when necessary), raise funds for needed equipment, and honor the firemen's service to the community.
The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room at the fire station. The agenda at this time is to plan fundraising activities.
