You take in a deep breath. 

"Okay," you say.  "I just came from Cave #9, so I don't want to go back there.  That leaves Cave #14." 

You return to Cave #9, because you're a glutton for punishment. 

You sneak toward Cave #14, and hope there's no construction routing problems.
